Yep, you guys certainly are going to be able to make a difference to all the changes the comic has under gone lately. I eagerly await seeing what you'll all do that doesn't involve you guys actually doing the senisble thing.

 

What is the sensible thing? Well if the comic is pissing you all off so much with the changes and such, perhaps the best idea is to stop reading it? And by that, also not buy it. A drop in readership and as such sales could do some head turning in the Archie offices.

 

Not like that will happen, because if there's one thing I've noticed in many fandoms is that if fans don't like something, they still feel the need to throw cash at said thing they don't like.

 

So you guys keep fighting the good fight, I'll just stand here and do nothing since I don't care for the Archie comic anyway.

While I'm not a fan of all the changes and crap, I'm still enjoying the comic so I'm gonna keep buying it anyways.

 

Besides, Marvel is pulling much worse crap out of their butts right now and only thing really worth reading anymore from DC is Batman so....

Hehe, now that is cute. You think you know why I'm no longer an admin, and yet you don't know. "You're not an admin anymore because you're a meanie head who says things I don't like!" Actually, I'm not an admin anymore because I butted heads with RockyRaccoon, aka that prick who took over this forum from Nique and then ran away and hid like a little bitch when shit went down. He'd say things I didn't agree with and he didn't like that. So rather then talk to me about it, one day he stripped me of being an Admin. And not long after I pretty much left the Sonic fandom for a while anyway because of how mind bendingly crap and insane I found some of the people in the fandom to be. People like you actually.

 

If they were to offer me Admin or Mod again, I wouldn't want it. And if I took it, no doubt people like you would claim I'd abuse my powers.

So you don't buy it and yet you still cry and complain like a little bitch about the comic. Yep, figured as much. You sound like a self entitled fan alright. Don't support the aspect of the fandom you don't like, yet still complain about how much it sucks and how much better you'd be at controlling it and get together a tiny group of fans who think the same who will bring down the evil forces of Sega and restore the Sonic franchise back to it's good old days of when it was "good".

Exactly, I don't really give a shit about things I don't give a shit about. I love my Transformers but didn't really care for the Beast Wars/Beast Machines era so I just don't bother with it. I didn't buy the DVDs or the toys or anything else and I don't go on forums typing about how butthurt I am, how much it sucked and how much better Transformers was back in my day and how I'd do things differently if I had the chance. Why? Because I don't give a shit about the parts I don't care for.

 

And why did I go out and post my previous one? Well... Firstly I knew you'd probably be pissed at it, but I also wanted to see if anyone would actually agree with me. Turns out Ben agreed and I also had someone else like my post, so I must be doing something right if people are agreeing/liking what I put.

 

Sure, sometimes my posts may seem harsh and dickish, but they get a point across.

Prime has and always will be as blunt as a bag full of hammers. And I just so happen to share his view: don't like the comic? Don't bloody worry about.

By all means though, talk, discuss, digest, call for help, or whatever-you-want. I'm sure many people here would agree with you and would want to join in. But you can drop the 'scratch my back and we'll maybe be inclined to scratch yours' vibe. We are not in the business of doing favours for financial assistance. Don't ever imply that crap again, thank you very much.

For the record, Sea3on is not in trouble - we have talented professionals doing their thing. I am just unable to pay them like I used to. FUS is also not in trouble - we just need to cut the server costs down a tad. FUS is not on the verge of disappearing. I will never let that happen.

A quick history lesson:
I also lost my ADMIN/mod status on FUS at around the same time as Prime for exactly the same reasons. Rocky was an idiot driving this place into the gutter. We turned that around though.

I've already spoke my mind about this. The comic isn't for everyone, but I still enjoy it. It's a new spin that I can get behind that, I think, is handled well.

Here's something I want to point out. Penders has worked himself into a corner. He wants his future to be cannon to the comics, but that cannot happen unless "his" characters return. I think he needs to cut them a better deal, otherwise he's screwed himself.
