I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about Ratty. In fact, I didn't even know you had an issue with me. Yeah, I've complained a bit, but I've never said SMS is better. I did not mention SMS here precisely because I thought that would be obnoxious of me, I was not complaining about your sense of humor in this thread, just suggesting that some people might not get it (I personally don't), I was not complaining here or here or here or here
I did mention SMS here because Rocky mentioned it, and I was just sharing a similar experience. As for it being a complaint, well it is the Vents forum, and I was certainly not complaining about FUS.
As for the issue of the emoticon when this new forum started, which I'm sure is what you're really referring to, I cleared that up with Rocky, so it's really not anyone's business anymore anyway since 1) it's over with, and 2) no one cared to know what I was thinking and just made incorrect assumptions about me in the first place. I never mentioned it or tried to defend myself again because it didn't seem important enough and I figured it would just make things worse.
Edit: oh, almost forgot (I don't want to be accused of ignoring stuff I've said). Yeah, I was complaining here, but again, it's the Vents forum, but after my post there, since what I do apparently matters so much, I've decided I'm done with the comics and have nothing to say about it anymore unless someone specifically asks me. Sorry to hear you've been getting e-mails like that Rocky.
SMS has occasionally had the opposite problem, like when a certain person was causing problems here. Some were acting like what happens here should change how SMS does things, like SMS is an extension of FUS! Yeah, there's a relation between the sites and we share members, but we still make our own decisions. Thankfully that hasn't happened in a while.

I think you're misunderstanding me. For the FUS/SMS topic, I was saying SMS is it's own entity just as FUS is it's own. I was saying neither should have to change how things are done based on the other. I was saying that SMS has had the same types of problem Rocky says FUS has been having. I don't see how that's a contradiction in anything I've said, there or otherwise.
As for the emoticon issue, I brought it up now because I know that it hasn't really gone away even thought it's over with. I'm not sure how you can be offended by my being offended when no one actually knew what it was I was offended about! After seeing the baseless assumptions made about me, and after stupidly trying to defend myself in the Vents forum, I decided to just drop it because it wasn't worth the effort. But no, I'm not satisfied, I just didn't want to talk about it because I didn't see it getting anywhere for either side.

What I was saying (change SMS to Elisto) is as a moderator you are something of a representative of that site and the way it does things, the prevailing philosophies and beliefs there (as well as your own personal opinions on the subject) have no authority to dictate what the members of this site think or do, particularly about something so trivial.
