@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Ok, Kev...you and me...Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Let's see who's the real Gamemaster here...

That 'Being in Character thing' when this isn't an RP board is getting /REALLY/ tiresome Gamemaster.

Try something else. I mean this.

Sorry...my bad.

Okay...back on topic, I'm kinda curious now as to what other obscure cartoons Jim knows after seeing Bort. For example...got a favorite Gobot, Jim?

I did use to watch the Gobots a lot, but the only character I remember is the fellah that turned into a motorcycle . . . he was the main bad guy, wasn't he? Either way, apparently the show was very forgettable for me.

PS, yesterday I did draw a 'toon, but I ended up being too busy/feeling too under the weather to get it scanned and posted. I'll be getting it and today's sketch up after I get home from work later today, however.
Cheers!

So, I've gotten caught back up with my sketchings. Had to abandon it for a few days, as I felt like somebody had taken a crap inside my skull. Still a little shaky, but good enough to do the drawing thing again.

Since there's five going up at once this post, I'm putting Egon Spengler from The Real Ghostbusters, Quackerjack from Darkwing Duck, Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series, Merklynn from Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light, and Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes in a spoiler tag.

Holy hell I haven't seen Tiny Toon Adventures in years!
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

I repeat, y'all should really be reading the entries over at DA, 'cause then you'd already know why.
QUOTE ("On DeviantArt @ Jim":owvesolo)
Oh, Irma. Poor little man-crazy Irma. I'd gladly help you warm your little efficiency on those long New York nights.

Yah, every budding red-blooded guy wanted April. I was pretty partial to her, myself. Yellow jumpsuit, go-get-em attitude, and huuuuuuuge . . . tracts of land? Cool. But if I had to choose between the two? I'd take Irma every time.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for the glasses, mussy hair, and turtleneck sweater. It's just enough geek girl chic to set off my Attractive Alarm.

And thus the mystery is solv-ed!

I'm an Anarchist, and they had a character who would hand out power and wisdom to everyone equally as long as they were willing to work for it. Of course I'd remember Visionaries.

You know...I was halfway tempted to create an actual D&D campaign using those characters, but the lack of anyone with clerical spells made that unplayable to most.

Why Presto, though? I would've thought you would've drawn the Acrobat. (For the obvious dirty-minded reasons.)

And thus does March Cartoon Madness come to an end! I want to once again (or in some cases, for the first time) thank everyone who has faved, commented, or watched due to my silly little toon sketchies. I love each and every one of you!

Except you. You're a little smelly. Please leave.

Okay, now that that little bit of unpleasantness is over, it's time to look to the future! For the month of April, I'm planning on taking it easy, trying to get a little work done on my New Gravedale High thing, as well as a few other projects I've got laying around. But then May?

Well, see, I really enjoyed doing this sketchie thing, so I want to do it again. The big question is, tho', just what area should my favorite characters for May Madness come from? Movies? TV Shows? Literature? Video games? Comic books? Something else?

At least I have a month to think about it, neh? And I'm certainly open to suggestions, so don't be shy!
Cheers!
