In that case: Perhaps instead of doing Sub-Space, why not give Smash Brothers a Story? You start off with the original and move through Melee to Brawl to 3DS.

Hmm... About the Smash Bros Idear: What if we went with the basic Smash Bros format, but used our own characters, instead? That way, we've got a truly fresh start, but a familiar format. I actually had some ideas reguarding characters like Vlad, Lyn, and Rick with Smash Bros attack sets...
As to Fallout: Give me a couple of days to finish up my computer setup, Ben. Then I'll be able to jump into the internet full-bore again. I'll really look over stuff then.
Reguarding Edgecrusher: I've done a bit of retooling reguarding Vlad's MO (he's still strongly driven to get the Edgecrusher's powerplant, but not quit to the level of obsessiveness that I think my initial post implied), and worked up a new character (Nicknamed "AK") who will be joining the Warwolf's crew, if they're successful in finding the Edgecrusher.
I've also decided to have the timeframe set to a point in time roughly a couple of months before the events of Doomsday. So, the FFs have contacted the other FF groups, and are in the process of preparing the assault. The thought behind this would be that it's taking some time for them to do stuff like grow the Scorch Plants or for Rotor to figure out how to refine them without losing his tools or hands in the process, and to get everyone onboard.
Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...

I've finally unearthed the url to a pic that a friend found many years ago and sent the url to me because it reminded them of Rick Tyger. Imagine that guy with some extra fingers and a mullet and you've got a very good idea of what Rick looks like. And yes, that's about the right size for Rick's trusty anti-tank rifle (or Luna Yvhv, if it's a more recent storyline).
