@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

You mean this new update?
https://www.fanficti...0412&chapter=5/

Sorry for being a couple of days late on my review.

Anyway, for such a short story there is a lot here; I love stories like this were cold hardware becomes more feeling and ethical than its flesh and blood masters. While myself, the reader, had to make sure I didn't just scan over the first 2/3 to 3/4 of the story due to it superficially seeming like unimportant robot babel. I was glad that I went over it a couple of times to catch all of the nuances of the Swatbot's dialogue, which was quite good. In the end it left me wanting to read more, which in my opinion is a good thing: leaving the reader wanting more.

Good job!
Thanks. After a long hiatus on my stories I was worried that one would come off too awkward

Home stretch (I keep telling myself that. One of these days it has to be true, right?). Wound up going into a bit more detail than anticipated on the latest section, but the extra focus helps it feel like a sort of climax for the chapter, which isn't something I had originally intended but seems to work well. Hopefully just another day or two's worth of writing to go.

Just be careful on the amount of text.  A wall of text on screen chases readers away.  Make sure you space it enough so it doesn't appear to be a wall of text.

As long as I can paste from Word with formatting, I'll be good to go. If not...well, I get to spend an hour or two doing nothing but hitting Enter.

Deviant Art doesn't keep formatting.

Fan Fiction does a bit better, but still doesn't.  Though you have the option to add lines between paragraphs which helps sometimes.

If you're just posting it on the Forums....it still doesn't keep the formatting very well.

I'm looking for some extra opinions on some of the rough draft episodes of EoT that are in RP script formatting. If anybody would care too see some sneak  previews and give opinions, I'd really appreciate it.

College work interfering...

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

For this week's Unsung Spotlight:

BRMSORT'S SEASON 3 -- REDUX:

https://sites.google...ght-new-morning

This deserves more attention and a possible review. If you find the time, make the time.

Also plan to get back into reviewing when I settle into my new home. So if you want it, ask for it.

Spring break is upon me.

Will that chapter actually be finished? Will the beginning of my magnum opus ever see the light of day? Will it leave all who gaze upon its genius in silent awe? Will it be rightfully scorned as an incomprehensible amalgam of pretentious prose and aimless drivel? Or is it all a fabrication, nothing but a lie I conjured up months ago in the hopes of infiltrating the coalition and ousting Stranger from his position of political authority?

Stay tuned to find out! Same FUS time, same FUS channel!

Et tu, Sorzo? xD

If I mysteriously die Red gets my all my supposed "authority." Seniority rules.

I hope it all goes well...

Meanwhile I have over two novels worth rough-draft on EoT. ;P

Problem is that I've been writing backwards from Book Two: Volume One, to the "season finale" of Book One."

I might actually get some help from one you guys to get me back on track for Episode One-Two.

Actually started tonight and am getting to finally try my hand at giving Sonic some banter against SWATbots. Gosh, this is fun, though I might wind up giving this final stretch a bit of a faster pace than intended. We'll see.

As promised, I'll start reviewing the various stories of other coalition members. Stranger asked me to look at his first, so I'll be starting Edge of Tomorrow tonight.

Sorzo Gains 1000 XP!

*Spends skill points in Imagery, Metaphors, and Bad Puns*

Joking aside, you filed my story under the wrong category. The Princess and the Demon isn't a short story; when the whole thing's finished, it will be the length of a small novel (I'm estimating at least 60,000 words). On top of that, it will be continued by subsequent stories of similar length. This is all assuming everything goes according to plan, but I feel it should go under the Series/Serials category.

Thought that would get your attention. ;)

Well, I wanted to see if you were that confident...I was planning to upgrade it's status when the time came. But if you are truly that ardent about seeing this through. Then I shall.

You also need to put the story name in italics.
