That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Hey all,

 

I see some old faces, er, names here so some might remember me. My name is Bram Sortwell, and I was a member here and at other SatAM Sonic websites many many years ago. I even had my own that hosted the ABC version of SatAM episodes back in the dark days before the DVD boxset was released. After the release, I shut down the website and disappeared from SatAM fandom about 5 years ago.

Anyway, much has happened over the years. I am now married, have 4 kids (with one on the way), have turned the big 3-0, and have been employed at my full-time job for 10 years last May.

I recently watched the SatAM boxset for the first time in years now that my children can share it with me. And I felt I might like to at least test the fandom waters again. Life is busier these days, so I won't be spending hours on end here, but I will be swinging in occasionally. I may also resurrect and refinish an old fanfic of mine.

A shout out to Saber16. I see you are still kicking in the fandom.


I love my God, my wife, my 5 kids, and I like my guns, my beer, my whiskey, and my pickup.

I dislike politicians, policemen, diet foods, no-smoking signs, and mowing the lawn.

I like Sonic games from the Genesis days, tolerate the Sonic Adventure series, can stomach Sonic Heroes, and can't stand the rest.

And there is only one true story of Sonic, SatAM.

Thanks brmsort! Glad to see your still alive and kicking.

If you need the files for your stories, I still have them on my external collecting virtual dust. It's unfortunate I wasn't able to get fan comic going, but I still really liked the story you created and hope to see more from you.

Thanks, Saber. I was able to collect them off of archive.org (w00t for the wayback machine). I have been reworking them a bit and might write a few new stories. Good to see you are still around, too. Don't burn yourself out, bud.
