Hello, I am Mike Arcade, I'm a gamer and a long time fan of the Sonic Series, while I am a member of a few Sonic related forums (mainly focusing around the games and how they work) I decided to become a member here on Sonicsatam.com due to my interest in the series along with all the theories and interesting things I've seen on the forums when I was lurking. I started out gaming and the Series with Sonic 1 and 2 for my Sega CDX, and I've been a fan ever since. I even watched AoSTH when I was little, however I was completely unaware of Sonic SatAM when I was little and unknowingly skipped it, though I did watch Sonic Underground when it was on. Pretty messed up thing to say on a site mainly focused on SatAM and to an extent the Archie Series, probably but I was little and didn't know better, I FINALLY got to watch the whole series when Shout! released the whole series, it's a really good show and I can see why it's the cult hit that it is today, I'd really like to see Sega make a new series based off of it but hey you never know.
I've also read the Archie comic a little bit when I was little but didn't really collect the issues, the only intact comic from the 90's I have is the rereleased Sonic Firsts, the characters were really interesting but most of the stuff (such as the few Knuckles Issues I had) was WAY over my head when I was a kid. Throughout the years I've played countless games, read several comics, and so forth but Sonic has always been a constant in my life because Sega's Hedgehog is the one that got me into games in the first place, and because of that I'm very grateful to Sonic and The Multimedia Series from Sega, Archie, Fleetway, and so forth.
I also want to join this site because I've seen some interesting topics such as theories on the show and comic. I've got my own I would like to show you as examples.
One theory I have concerns the whole Multiverse Aspect of the Archie Sonic series, when I got word in the comic that this Sonic is the Prime Sonic that will save all zones, I called BS on it, I said to myself that the Sonic in the Games is the TRUE Sonic Prime but I was in my pre to mid Teens at the time. So if Archie Sonic is the Prime Sonic and his Zone is the most important one then that would mean that the Sega Sonic World and all others are just along for the ride, I just don't buy that...unless...(here we go) that the reason why Archie Sonic is the Prime Sonic is because his Multiverse is ACTUALLY a single Universe. How does that make any sense? Well consider that Blaze in the games is from Another Dimension, is the Dimension just a part of the universe in that world or is her world a Universe all on it's own, what the answer is I do not know. But if it's the former then couldn't that mean the same thing for Archie Sonic's World? It's very possible. From the way I see it, Archie Sonic's Universe is a world made up of many Zones, it's a fractured universe that for some reason makes copies of itself that alter throughout time and space. It may never be known why this world is made up of so many dimensions but the effects of some zones over others are particularly noteworthy. Such as the Sol Zone, Moebius Zone, XYL Zone, Enerjak Zone, Silver's Future, and The No Zone. Considering that these Zones have interacted with the Prime Zone on multiple occasions I believe signifies something. While their are many Zones, only a select few have a stronger and direct connection to the main world then others, while most eventually go off into obscurity and possibly die quicker then other Zones do to that certain Zone being much "weaker" then others (examples like Sally Moon, Soniczilla, and other parody based Zones). It's why we never see them again as they do not have any significance to us the reader (and company, obviously) and the Universe as a whole. Those select few Zones will live just as long as the Prime Zone. But what about the Sonic X and Underground Zone? The Cosmos is a strange place, I would say that each media such as the games, comics, and cartoons are their own separate universe, it's not farfetched that Archie Sonic's World somehow made a world similar to identical to a Universe from the Sonic Multiverse as you can call it. I know this seems very convoluted but that's how I think the Archie Sonic book works, that way the games and other media have just as much meaning as Archie Sonic's Prime Zone. A Universe that has many Dimensions that parallel the main world could be confused as a Multiverse after all, it is possible.
I do have another theory regarding the Chaos Emeralds in the Sega Sonic Universe, that being the Master and Chaos Emeralds are artifacts created by some type of gods of sort (that are said to give the emeralds to those that live on West Side Island in the JP Manuel of Sonic 2) and the reason for them giving the Emeralds to the world in the first place is because the Emeralds cause Evolution to the World, kinda like the monolith in 2001. The Chaos Emeralds evolve life on the world while the Master Emerald keeps the other emeralds in check from mutating the life on the world too much. I've got evidence to back this up too, the Chao have a very strong connection to the emeralds right? Well consider Chaos from SA1, and the Chaos Chao from SA2. The Chaos Chao look pretty similar to how Chaos does, you can say that Chao are infant Chaos Creatures! In fact I think that has been confirmed somewhere. I believe the Chao are the Emeralds natural defense to combat those that would use them for other means. So it is possible that not only could the Emeralds evolve Chao into Chaos Beings, but in the Sonic World evolve other beings of the World into what they are today in the games and so forth? It seems like this could be true, after all how else would you explain a blue talking hedgehog? This could also apply to Archie Sonic's world as Emeralds were EVERYWHERE in the Prime Zone, and actually evolve certain characters into higher beings such as The Ancient Walkers.
Well that's all I have for now, I can't wait to become a member on this site and to talk with other fans of the series, sorry if it's a little too long but that's how I can be sometimes with my posts. Anyway administrators I wish you all a good day and hope to see you soon on the site!
Sincerely,
Mike Arcade
