When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

What would have you done differently, with the newer issues? Go!

Everything about that stupid undersea arc.

The only thing that I really liked is that the undersea kingdom had a poor grasp of the land kingdom's people and battles.  Everything else about it seemed to be just filler.  The new fish people were uninteresting...they didn't solve the problem they had to be saved by a dues ex machina aka Chaos and Tikal...and for a underwater mission, they pretty much brushed off the fact that Sonic isn't the best choice for this job.  It's sad that the secondary story in the issues were the ones holding my attention.

Haven't really thought how to fix it yet though...

Good points. Perhaps we can start with the Sonic-underwater issue. Perhaps you could nix him out, or perhaps you could make necessary that he has to go

Sonic should be there since he wasn't in the second part.  But he should be more resistant about it.

Hmm...honestly, not too much. I like the direction the Newer Issues have taken so far, it's really interesting and cool! I mean we still get those favorite and familiar SatAM characters, while the world of the games is further expanded with more detail on how things work. It's a great fusion on SatAM/Archie Sonic and The Games, sans what we lost but I'd say half of the old content is better off gone. Not a popular outlook I understand but that's how I feel, after all how much do you guys love Titan Tails anyway? May I remind you of the Dalek-Squid lookalike Xorda, how about Substitute Uncle Chu-I mean Nate Morgan, The poorly executed storylines such as Home, Dulcy's very special episode, The One Color Only Robots, and is anyone here a big Tommy Turtle Fan? The Combots, who the hell likes those guys? Oh and don't let me forget The Echidna Race's Backstory, with uninspired technology, strangely robe covered Dark Legionnaire Soldiers, and THE DESTINY of Mobius: 25 Years Later! Now we can move beyond that, we don't have all that crap clogging the continuity or holding back The Comic.

That's not to say it isn't completely perfect, honestly if Sega and Archie were much more looser on Mandates and Content Usage (such as some older content Pre-Super Genesis Wave) the comic would be as close to perfect as it can get. If that happened we would get some more details in the comic due to that freedom, but what we have now I say is very, very good. I mean we are getting more unique Mobians (Waves of Change being a good example), content and concepts from the games adapted that you wouldn't expect (Again, see Waves of Change), and such twists and turns in the story that you can't really predict what will happen next.

You're up for a great ride and surprise which is what I want in a good comic book, and I'm happy to see how Archie Sonic has come a long way from the gag comic format to it's melodrama filled insanity. Despite all the Mandates and Limitations, The Archie Sonic Team of Today are still standing strong which is a testament on their dedication to bringing good stories and entertainment.

Seriously, HOW THE HELL did nobody know that Robotnik was evil!? I mean just look at those red, glowing, hellish eyes, oh yeah I can completely trust that guy with my life! *sarcasm*

Well, I did like the the Echidna race stories and the Xorda idea.

Knuckles was not dumb as in certain other media (e.g. Sonic Boom - [wearing semilunar glasses]“I can’t read.”) and his background was very interestingly developed.
In my opinion, the “Gene bomb” is a more plausible explanation for the rise of Mobians than mutating nuclear radiation. Perhaps a pathogen containing ribonucleoproteins, which would identify human cells, but also mutate several populations of nonhuman amniotes by accident... (ignoring the anthropomorphic spiders)

To the list above, I would also add the Station Square in a volcano, the Bem, feral Naugus, Robo-Knuckles, and the 109th ring. But there are other things from the old continuity which I certainly miss…

How would you all start from scratch? What would be your issue one?

If i were to start it from scratch, Issue 1 would be immediately after Doomsday and go from there. Have the first few pages be a TL;DR version of SatAM (but have a note saying to fully understand whats going on, watch the series on Netflix or convince Cookie Jar to re-release more box-sets) and go from there. I would keep the comics independent from the games so that it is its own story and there's no resemblance from the games, just the characters are similar and maybe a few locations. But Issue 1: the immediate aftermath of Doomsday

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

So essentially a spin-off of the show? So you would start off like Sea3on or would you go a different route?

More or less a direct continuation of it. Maybe start it like Sea3on but then go its own route
