Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

I think the thing is, while some complain about fans nitpicking about Sally's 'nakedness', there is admittedly some legitimate problem if a character that is naked has something to hide like a visible boob silhouette and curvy legs. It's like if Sonic had a penis silhouette, there's no double standard to it there.

I do like the idea of her having some femininity to her, though still keeping in form with the other characters, that's why I liked Tazi San's design, which has more Sonic-y proportions, but is still noticeably delicate and 'cute' compared to Sonic's.

*Has a P.T.S.D moment at the second sentence.* "Curse you! Deviant art!!!!! Why do you show me what I can't unsee!"

Well shilhouettes don't change much with clothes...unless we plan to put them all in sweatervests and turtlenecks. xD Sonic The Hedgehog: now drawn by Sally's overprotective father! Well, Sonic does have obviously has some visable sexual-dimorphisms. Just...yeah do I really have to talk about this?

I don't think this is something we should talk about. :weird:

This, however, is somehow related (but not even SatAM related). How does he carry things?

There was an episode in AoStH in which he put something he had to keep inside his fur. Does he have a pocket in there or what? xD

In quite a few cartoons, animal characters use their fur as clothing.  Examples include Sonic the Hedgehog, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and pretty much any Looney Tune Ever.

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Nathniel Morgan (Satam Bible verision, not Archie). How do you think he would have fit in the series?

I think it would have made things definitely more interesting. It would have also shown that Mobians and humans (overlanders) could coexists. It definitely would have answered a lot of questions about what happened to the humans and such.

I'd play him off a grandfatherly character a biting edge. He 's a bit world weary and knows more than most about the ways thing were.

Honestly I'm not sure.  While he'd definitely answer some long term questions, he'd generate more.  If the series had included him, unless he was to be a key player in Season 3, I don't think he'd have enough screen time to be more than a one shot character like Naugus ended up being, which would have caused him to stir up more questions rather than any answers.

Knothole: How would you do the town layout? Same for Mobotropolis

Here is all I can find of any catagraphic info on the place. We can start with this as refrence and question the validty of this as an accurate layout, and a sensible one in universe.

I wouldn't.  Knothole isn't really a town but a safe haven from Robotnik.  I figure the layout isn't congruent or stable.

One thing I wish was more epmphasized was their need to scavange supplies to build and repair Knothole. Also looking to the affairs of keeping Knothole stable and congruent, improving it as a base operations. I think that would be a great way to symboloze the sucess and progress of the Freedom Fighters.

Here's one. Concerning the show's Executive Meddling, what do you believe might have been treated differently had the writers not been forced new concepts to work with? How would Dulcy's role have been compensated for? What stories may we have got in place of the Antoine shorts and "Dulcy"? What role could Rosie have played?

Unfortunately I believe Rosie would have never developed into anything beyond a background character, and potentially, a love interest for Uncle Chuck.

Though that could be good in itself, if she was acting as the care taker to Knothole while the Freedom Fighters did their jobs, it would explain how a lot of things were accomplished.

I'd have liked to see a few changes made in the storyline (for the better) once it's changed. I mean, if Rosie was with them (and by Rosie I mean an adult) for the whole time, maybe Knothole would have been a better place. The FF were just kids, they didn't know how to manage a village.

It would have been nice to know more about the first timeline (before BTTP). Was King Max a prisoner in Ironlock for some time before being thrown to the Void? Who roboticized Robotnik's arm? Did Bunnie get her robot limbs as a kid? How did she get her robot limbs in both timelines?

That way, we would know if Sonic and Sally really changed the timeline for the better.

It could be viewed that way....it could not. It lends itself to such, yet can be falsified. What do you think?

If Bunnie is still growing, and she has Robotcizied limbs, does that mean she could have serious problem with compatibility between her mutable and non-mutable body parts?

I think it is a portrait of Queen Nichole. It was in the scene where we first met Rosie and the other FF as children.

They would have to be constantly adjusted until she was "fully grown." However, as we see in Sonic Past Cool Rotor was able to extend her robotic appendages, so growth wouldn't be a problem. However, that's only half the equation.

Like someone getting used to artificial limbs undoubtedly there was time she needed to acclimate to them. They would undoubtedly be heavier than they were when they were organic, so getting used to the weight, especially on her left side would definitely be a challenge to overcome. Unless the metal for her left arm was very light it would cause a lot of balance problems until she got used to it, but probably the hardest part would be building up the muscles to hold and move that limb, that is unless her connecting muscles inside were robotisized as well.

I think it's fair to retroscript as such...except Nicole's color scheme is different: http://sonicsatam.com/sea3on/?p=1671

Even still those muscles interorecptors would be screaming with tension from the weight. Lactic acid build up, that feeling of overextension (like when you pull a muscle or get a cramp), lack of a complete curculation as well as potentail for metal poisoning would be attorocius. Bunnie would most likely have to go through a lot of corrective threapy or even surgery to prevent a pleathora of conditions.
