Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Off topic, I always wonder why no one ever pairs Rotor with Bunny; that relationship would make a lot of sense. She would have a husband that could fix her robotic parts if something was to happen.

That's kind of on topic. Rotor's character doesn't really lend itself to romantics being that he is the absent-minded professor type. Bunnie, on the other hand, strikes me as someone who would fall for the quiet, reliable type, just like Rotor. I think it is even stranger that the comics paired her up with Antoine, since as time went by, she became increasingly frustrated with his antics. I think even if Antoine were to become less chicken, his bravado and OCD would drive her nuts.

So I think Bunnie would definitely fall for Rotor; getting Rotor to notice her is another story.

Another add to that is Ken Penders had intended to make Rotor Homosexual in his writings of the Archie comics.  While that shouldn't effect SatAM, it left a lot of fans questioning Rotor's preferences.

Ian Flynn retconned that story out.

I don't think Ben Hurst ever paired anyone other than Sonic and Sally.

Ugh...why did you have to mention he-who-must-be-spanked Penders and his zany ideas.... Walrus-Sodomy...that, that...no, just no, nope, nien, nunca, Ie, imo, ochi, no.

Bunny and Rooter, hm, makes sense and it could work.

And for such he is thus deemed the wisest of us all.

In the context of Satam, how do you think the devloping character arcs would have tunred out to be in the following seasons?

Are you serious? Wow, all I can do is shake my head. If anything it would be logical to pair him up with NICHOLE before making him gay. Thank God for Ian Flynn; the more and more I hear about how much Penders and Bollers all but destroyed the comic I can appreciate Ian Flynn's work all that more. While I might not agree with him on all points, he had his work cut out for him.

Bunny would have to be the aggressor in the extreme, but I could definitely see it happening.

Glad that Flynn did.

I'm pretty sure that would have made controvesry

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Pender's admitted this after he was no longer around...most likely to stir up waves.

Unproductive and needless controversy...in every since of the words.

Not in the long hual...just quick-fiz cash and then a whole lot of stagnating emnity. And Penders only brough it up for obviously questionable reasons...given his luandry list of misdeeds.

Depends. If Robotnik is done and its rebuilding time, how would they adjust to peace time.

If it was like Sea3on, how do they adjust the fact they have to do the same ol song and dance AGAIN but with a more clever opponent

A good part of EoT deals with this prior question, especially from Sonic's perspective. I honestly think it would put a strain on Sonic readjusting. I mean what does Sonic do? Do you see him really working in a cubicle? And Sally and Sonic's relationship might suffer as well, due her duties as a royal and the rigid stuffyness of such a lifestyle. Still, the aftermath remains. Robians are still hostile. Swabots would stay hostile. Stealth bombers still fly in the polluted skies. You would essentially have a headless undead monster made of near-mindless machines. Yeah you cut the head off, but it's still trying to strangle you, crush you, burn you out of your hiding hole... First the Freedom Fighters would have to find a way to wage aconventional warfare on the machines, terminator-style. Then find a way to cure the Robians thus saving their species.

By taking more bolder steps to defeat their new enemy: striking hard and fast without pulling any punches, by this I mean snapping that little twig Snivly into like he were a hook-nosed toothpick

...that, that...no, just no, nope, nien, nunca, Ie, imo, ochi, no.

At the risk of stealing Kef's thunder, the German word for 'no' is 'nein', not 'nien'. When 'i' and 'e' are juxtaposed, the second one is pronounced.

Tail's, according to Hurst, was supposed to develop a new power and got a coming of age style arc, any idea what that might have been and been like?

Puberty

Naw he probably would have discovered something that has to do with the Power rings or the Void

With great power...comes great angst.

Seeing him capable of using the power rings would be great.

I swear...mine was oddly smooth. But everyone else around went crazy. I have been called an adult in a childs body through out all my youth, even now was a 21 year old people call me an "old soul". I guess I was just mentally prepared for the transformation.

I have a hilrious scene outlined in EoT involving a power ring in this regard. I won't ruin it though. Let's just say it's not a good time to learn that someone else in paticular can use them.
