Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I have no doubt the cyborg thing is to troll/throw people off. I mean why spoiler what would be a surprise twist Ian would to save for the end of CTC.. Besides, it seems events are taking place before 225 ever happen.

Considering the artist for the CTC Issues said this, you can't help but wonder.

Yeah, but NICOLE was a Super Computer AI. There wasn't much character to work off of to begin with. She later got an artificial Holographic body so we can see her develop more as a character. Sally was the leader of the Freedom Fighters because she didn't need a super power to be awesome. She had skills and a smart strategic brain. That's why making her a cyborg is very stupid.

By the way, Bunnie is not in the Oil Ocean Zone. A zone in Sonic 2, but not Oil Ocean.

I think if we ever see them again they'll be very different to perhaps the point they might as well be new characters. After what Penders did I doubt Archie will take any chances.
Considering the terms on how they can use the characters they can probably use them with no problems, the only thing is that anything with Lara-Su would have to be reviewed by Penders (so bye bye Archie Lara-Su/Jani-Ca 
) and that if any of his characters are going to be killed off they just have to let him know. I can see Penders' Characters possibly to probably being in the comic one day but considering the higher Ups at Archie are kinda stubborn dicks I have my doubts. I'll give Ken some credit, he did make some memorable characters.
Seriously, HOW THE HELL did nobody know that Robotnik was evil!? I mean just look at those red, glowing, hellish eyes, oh yeah I can completely trust that guy with my life! *sarcasm*

For reasons already mentioned, I am NOT looking forward to this "new universe". I get the feeling the whole thing is going to just look and feel like Sonic X.
It just...doesn't feel right anymore. I've tried to convince people that Sonic does not have to exclusively appeal to kids and the mentally ill. But this "new direction" will only make it harder to prove my point now.
A petition to keep up to a third of the characters in the sonic comics from being lost forever.

Yes and no.

If he was revealing secret information Archie didn't want out yet, yeah I'd totally give him administrative leave.
However if (and it most likely is) a joke, or the information wasn't a secret, I wouldn't care.

Yes and no.

That's TWO reasons now that I think about it.
Anyway, how do we know that if their designs were changed, their personalities weren't changed as well? For all we know this could be the next Sonic X.
Yeah, maybe a minor design change here and there won;t hurt anything, like how Sonic gradually changed over the past two decades. But THIS?! Because of this? And now everyone almost looks like Sonic recolors?

Well Rotor appears to be the same, other than being more physically fit and a nicer Max is a welcome in my book
