@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Also while Sonic can't age, they never said he couldn't have a history of things he did when he was young.

That's exactly what it is. According to Ian, the reason why neither Sonic nor Tails appeared during the Freedom Fighters' backstories was because Sonic and company cannot be shown aging. This includes both younger and older depictions.

Which is bull**** because they just established Classic Sonic as the younger version in "Generations".

Basically doesn't mean they did, it means they can't been seen doing so. (Confusing, I know)

The aging thing actually makes sense if they plan to never end the comic. For example in Marvel comics they established Jean Grey was borne in the sixties, in order to make her twenty something at the time of her death. Compare that with the other original X-Men, all of them are 50 plus years old now though they appear younger. Also considering this also makes Spider-Man, Johnny Storm, and a few other heroes 50 years or more it really takes you out of the illusion of a canon.

By never establishing the characters aging they never have to say Sonic and Co become too old to act the way they're supposed to, teenaged.

Also while Sonic can't age, they never said he couldn't have a history of things he did when he was young.

Red has a few good points here^

(And I agree with him on "the relationship thing")

I call shenanigans!

...

but I'm not sure if it's on Ian or on Sega.

*shrugs*

I'll cover all the bases by calling shenanigans on both parties xD

The relationship thing is still total bullsh*butterscotch*

I do see your point about the aging thing since the comic is going on for a foreseeable  future, if they were ever shown aging at all it would be a question on if or whenever the right time is for it.

I don't like the family rule either, because I liked at least some of Sonic and other freedom fighter's parents. Besides I think it would be good(for both children and adults) to see more positive, not perfect, protrayal of intact/tradisional families.

Of course, I don't like the relationship rules; I do want to see Sonic and Sally end up together permamently.

I'm seriously starting to love some of these new character designs.

Anyone else agree or disagree with me?

Who's that?

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

They're Cassia and Clove and they are two of Robotnik's egg bosses. Cassia has been cyberized.

Eh, the Marvel comics are a funny thing when it comes to continuity (apparently the Avengers fighting Godzilla is still canon from when they owned the rights). If I remember right, Peter Parker was stated to be 27 or round about that age in the new volume of Amazing Spider-Man, so obviously they either have to slow or completely halt the aging process for some characters. Pretty sure no-one has died of old age.

But I think Sega's making a mistake with not showing the characters age - especially with the main two after Generations. It just doesn't set up any emotional ties to them when you know they can't be shown in past times.

I suppose I can put up with it, after all the comic did started getting better after Ian took over writing duties and Sega started paying them interest again.

Snively with a beard pisses me off. It looks he's wearing a disguise. I want to rip it off him.

It took me a while to get used to it, but his new look has definitely grown on me. He looks like a relative of Dr. Wily.

Having facial hair must be a dream-come-true for Snively, considering he has a severe lack of it atop his dome.

I have to disagree. Nothing in his character demanded that Snively can not have facial hair. Also considering that the character of Snively in the comics was like his mid-thirties, it is more fitting he have a beard.

No seriously he was an adult. It was actually creepy to find that out.

Also since Sonic and Co average 3.5 feet tall he is really short

I'm sure you'd find it weird if Eggman grew a beard.

Weird yes.  But the mustache defines Eggman.  It's part of his character.  Snively being bald save a few strands is part of his character.  Since the beard ain't on top his head, it doesn't ruin his character.
