Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

In my opinion, the Deadly Six aren't that much different from the Koopalings from "Super Mario Bros." Both groups have stereotypical members (including the token vain girl), but the more you look into them, the more interesting they become.

Don't really like the Koopalings eitehr.

That would imply that the Zeti are comparable to Puppies and Oprhans but they aren't.  

 

The Zeti are stereotypical team of character archtypes which is fine in itself.  However not a single one of them really has a personality that I like.  Regardless of their RUMORED/FAN CONSENSUSES Backstory, I don't find any of them to have any redeeming qualities.

Sure, she's based off another character by another writer, but that hasn't stopped Penders from laying claim on characters that are clearly based off other characters (like the anti-Freedom Fighters and Robo-Robotnik). And so, it's likely that the organic Fiona won't be returning either.

I think it's quite obvious. I mean, every character/story Penders created for the comics are no longer available, right? This includes the story introducing us to the organic version of Fiona Fox, a character based after the robot which Gallagher introduced.

He didn't create the idea of the character, but the same can be said for Scourge, the Suppression Squad, and Robo-Robotnik (who were based off Sonic, the Freedom Fighters, and Robotnik respectively); and yet, he laid claim on those characters too. Thus, it's logical to conclude that the organic Fiona (which the robot was modeled after) is now under his list if claims.

Well this sucks, where did you hear about Scourge not returning? At least I think it sucks because he had a lot of potential as an antagonist, same goes for Fiona because if he's gone then she'll probably not come back either, maybe even Finitivus as well. For the former and latter considering their heavy redesigns you'd think they would be an exception to that rule, weren't there suppose to be exceptions? Besides how the hell can Penders use Robo-Robotnik and Evil Sonic anyway when they are HEAVLY based on Sonic and Robotnik? He might as well make entirely new characters instead of them.

 

Then again Fiona COULD be used if she's only a robot, or her organic counterpart is completely different from the original, and if that's the case maybe the same could be said about Scourge and Finitivus considering they're designs, just give them a new backstory and boom, done.


Seriously, HOW THE HELL did nobody know that Robotnik was evil!? I mean just look at those red, glowing, hellish eyes, oh yeah I can completely trust that guy with my life! *sarcasm*

But as of yet, only Penders' creations have been confirmed not to be returning. There hasn't been any such confirmation for other writers' yet, so there could be some hope. Who knows?

So far at least.

 

However I feel that when "The Lara-Su Chronicles" fails Penders will HAVE to give SEGA a better deal or go flat broke. Some people are saying he will take the rights to the grave with him but their reasons as to why they believe that has not been very clear to me.

 

I just hope these character removals are only temporary...
