Well, since Reed doesn't want other people using his FAR FAQ topic, I figured that I'd fix one up for everyone.

 

• Sandstone was originally a collaboration with a former FUS member known as Flege2, and was originally intended for use by my old RPG group.
• The power from Sandstone comes from the eternal lightning storm that hovers above the city. The obelisks are giant lightning rods hooked into converters that tone down the power and distribute it, so it doesn't just fry the wiring.
• Coyote's Challenge was originally an e-mail RPG amongst some of my friends and myself.
• The character Fred Tyger from VHS's RPG is based largely on myself.

Trivia: The only characters that are directly inspired by me are Wheatley from WIP and Kevin, a future ReFar character.

None of the Characters I used are based on me, however Red from the WIP Cafe is me roleplaying as myself.  With supernatural powers and stuff of course.

most of the inspiration for my character Mike's design came from Patlabor  , mecha sonic from the archie comics, and even tibits of the gears from Heavy Gear

The character Vlad Yvhv is active in a current RPG on the Outpost 31 forums, along with Lyn and Wolf. Scorpio and Lyn's junkbots "Fridge" and "Toaster" are also in there.

Toaster's voice is based upon RECR from MEGAS XLR.

Since they never made it into PaperWars/FAR I'll put the trivia here:

 

The original Red (Hedgehog) had two sidekick characters that were not updated when Red was remade for FAR.  

 

Frostbite - An Arctic Fox.  Was a bit gun happy.  Was a mercenary.  Had no real development beyond that. 

 

Boltz - Cybernetic Echidna.  One of those gentle giant characters.  He was big, strong, but didn't like fighting.  Never went anywhere with him either due to not having anything interesting for him to do.

Those sound like promising characters Red. Perhaps we'll run into them in the future?

Pedro is actually named after a friend of mine.

 

The Character Austin was named after the real name of Peanut Butter Gamer from Normalboots.com (RIP).  Why?  Cuz I needed names so I started using real names of internet peoples.  There was going to be a John (JonTron), Aaron (Egoraptor), Bryan (Psyguy), Dave (SupaDave), Susie (Susie the Goose), Doug (Nostalgia Critic), and a Alan (Mr. O.M.A).   None of them were going to act like their namesake however, I just needed names for characters.  Though I kinda was picturing them as their namesake.

Some nifty factoids about the Warwolf Crew and friends.

• Vlad's crew has evolved over the course of RPGs. I tend to keep these crew members around, reguardless of the fact that it would cause paradoxes with some stories and other RPGs.
• Most of you know Lyn, Wolf, and Jed, and Scorpio. Fridge and Toaster were added around the time as Scrorpio, with the intention that they were prototypes that Lyn decided to keep around.
• During the intial RPing with Misk and Sillicate, Vlad managed to abduct and assimilate Lupe and the Wolf Girl With No Name (from No Brainer).
• Vlad assimilated Kolaswv (koh-lah-swah ["Star" in Muskogee]) in the Outpost 31 Forums RPG: "Goofin' Around". Kolaswv is a werewolf-like species. Her weapon of choice is a plasma gatling gun. She was assimilated to save her life, as she was largely torn apart by a bear-like alien known as a Lanork (she managed to kill it before Vlad and Grasshopper found her). Kolaswv is unique amongst the crew, as she had requested that Vlad assimilate her, and now sees him as an adoptive father. Her rank is Over-Commander, placing her directly below Lyn in the chain of command.
• Jed is not actually a member of the Warwolf's crew. He's a prisoner of the Omnian Confederation, under Vlad's supervision. Jed is also not an Omnian. He's a Thing.
• Vlad is a Supreme Alpha Omnian. A rare variant of Alpha whose mind and soul is stronger than other Alphas. This allows him to maintain control of his colony much easier than most other Omnian Alphas. It also allows him to exert control over more common Alphas, and to have "sub-colonies" living within his own colony.
• Vlad's favorite sub-colony belongs to his good friend Kordova Alvo, whose origional form resembles the Hunter's Rifle from the videogame Prey. Kordova is capable of creating and firing concentrated blasts of plasma, or sustainded sterams of less-concentrated plasma. The trade-off is that doing so requires vast amounts of energy, which tends to equate to 13 high-powered rounds for a 10 pound bag of sugar and 3 pounds of live flesh. Kordova's colonly also includes Skunk, who can produce explosive gas-filled eggs (fired like a grenade laucher or RPG) and a rancid musk cloud that acts like a small scale forcefield.
• Vlad isn't the Warwolf's captain. Lyn is. Vlad's rank is Fleet Admiral, as was awarded him when he built the Warwolf.
• Wolf refuses to speak any language other than feral canid. She does, however, use the appopriate language when communicating with others via non-verbal means.
• To date, Vlad has only ever had 2 human friends: Okami and Grasshopper, from Outpost 31. This resulted from an uneasy alliance following a teleportaion mishap that stranded him at the Outpost for a few months. Lyn is still untrusting of the Humans, but Kolaswv has made friend with them, as well. Vlad has found himself becoming a bit less apathetic towards humankind during his stay at the outpost. The attacks by various alien species has helped forge trust between what are normally mortal enemeies.
• If Egecrusher gets off the ground, it will see a return to Vlad's origninal form, the Zarvoxian Black Fire Dragon.
