I know I haven't posted half of a damn thing on these forums in years. For that I apologize, sometimes life and other things get in the way and I drift away from Sonic fandom. I took my yearly vacation downstate a few weeks ago. Upon talking to my dad about my computer problems with my old desktop and how I wanted to get some stuff off the hard drive (like my old fanfiction) he provided me with an interesting bit of older tech to use as a go between. If I can ever get my lazy ass in gear, then I can finally rip the data from that drive (assuming it isn't all corrupt that is). This means I can finish my Fanfic series!!! I bet you were wondering what any of that had to do with creativity huh? I mostly just wanted to let you all know that and see if anyone even held interest in it. In other news, if I can't retrieve my original files, my buddy had hard copies of all my completed fanfic from back on knothole.info. So I can recreate my stories as they were from day one. I was also thinking of rewriting them. After all, I was like 14 when I started them, and I'm 27 now. My writing's grown by leaps and bounds since then. Anyhow, viva la me!!! I guess.
UPDATE: So I checked the original drive and it was formatted. Bummer deal I know, but at least I have the finished original fanfic. I've been wanting to re-write these for a while, so I suppose I should look at this as an opportunity to finish something I should have a long ass time ago. I'll keep this topic updated as I start and continue re-writing and then finishing my original fanfiction series (hopefully), I hope FUSers will stick with me while I take another go at getting this done.
