"This one" referring to...?
The plot of Black Knight. I just really find it as smack to the face against Sonic's character. I think Soleana was destroyed years ago by Lazaar from the way my lore-history looks. Elise probably died years ago... if not I would probably make her a selfish codependant villan that's childish... and desperate.

That's Amy's schtick.
While I likely won't include Elise in any of my writings, I'd probably use her as a foil for Sal. Experiment with the ideas of royalty in different contexts and all that. No love triangles included.

No creepy My Sweet Passion stuff for my Amy. She is fresher take on her character. A lot more spunky, much like a feminine lady-Sonic however with very different backstory. Very gung-ho and independant, but has Satam Sonic's vulnrabilties and was sheltered from the darker Satam elements like the Roboticizor. My Amy is rebel and a spunky punk, but very smothery to the people she cares for. Romance however is an akward subject to her, it's a very introverted soft spot in her largely extroverted and boistorus character...(which reminds us of...) She was a fan girl of a radio-broadcast of Sonic's legendary exploits in her hidden and isolated hometown Sileo. It was a hilarious and horrible skewed telling of those exploits.Things get pretty metafictional in some places when comes to this radioplay. I had one idea that the Radio Play based around Sonic in Sileo that Amy loves misconstrudes the truth about him real bad, and is written by a sensationalizing author named Perry "Penny Dreadful" Penders who is my Rita Skeeta. Seriously, all the schlock that you see in the comics, games, or series as whole gets trashed and parodied in the radio-drama. When Professor Jay (who is a writer) says he can do better...yes, I am painting the forth wall a bit, but I am not breaking it. She spends half her time meeting the real FFers with a sense of shock, especially Sonic (who is very different than the mere idea of Sonic she had a big crush on).

While I like Black Knight's story more than that of the other 3D Sonic games (though that's mainly a matter of the bar being set so low), I agree that Sonic's logic completely falls apart at the end...unless there's some downside to Merlina's plan that I'm missing.
To obtain immortality for her and her Kingdom, she's basically selling her and every Camelotian's soul to the Underworld. Just look at the world as it's transforming - it's not a thing of beauty at all. It's slowly turning into a nightmarish realm. Camelot may be eternal, but it's not going to remotely resemble the land Merlina cares so much about.
It's a common theme in fiction that to become immortal, you often have to give up your humanity. Merlina was doing a fantastic job of that, based on her appearance alone. The most simplified definition of good versus evil, I think, would be that evil is putting your interests ahead of everyone else's, regardless of consequence to them, whereas good is putting everyone else's interest ahead of yours, regardless of the consequences to you.
More on topic, I do greatly like the song With Me, though it's not in the poll. Besides being action-packed, it also embodies Merlina's selfish despair fairly well. I was also ecstatic to see the return of a rock final boss theme after the orchestra pieces in Sonic 2006 and Unleashed. What I really like is the nice touch - they turned Merlina's tragic piano tune into a rock theme; I couldn't believe at first that Merlina's theme and With Me actually have the same beat despite their different instruments.

Back to favorite songs...
Sadly, my favorites aren't on this list. My two favorites are Chosen One by Mona Lisa Overdrive from Shadow the Hedgehog and Catch Me If You Can (Zero Gravity Mix) by Runblebee from Sonic Riders Zero Gravity.
I also like Fight the Knight by Crush 40, and (to be honest) I kind of pictured this theme playing for a scene in my fanfic reboot. Basically the scene where Gamemaster and Packbell are throwing down...
