When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Sonic Boom is my favorite
I also like "Toot Toot Sonic Warrior" and "Fastest Thing Alive"
Probably my favorite level song is Stardust Speedway Bad Future "USA Version"
Ice Cap is pretty good to.
I think another good level song is Rusty Ruins from Sonic 3D Blast "Genesis Version"

I like a majority of Sonic songs and level themes from the games. My top favorites being "Sonic Heroes" and "Generations".

But for remixes, I love the "Sonic Remix" album. Just listen to them:

Out of this list, they're all good. My favorite has to go to Endless Possibilities.

As for non-lyrical song, the Rusty Ruins Acts 1 and 2 for the Saturn are timeless and amazing. I want to put together some photos I've taken from hiking around East Tennessee(especially while it's raining) and put them to that song. I always think of it while hiking in the rain anyway.

i think Reach for the Stars sucks

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

It doesn't, it just isn't as good as many of the other songs.

Out of the poll, it's Sonic Boom for me, that song kinda embodies pure energy. The "Sonic Remix" album LogiTeeka suggested is pretty awesome too though.

i think Reach for the Stars sucks

As a song by itself it does, gets pretty obnoxious fairly quickly.

The Final boss version sounds better

Eh, just listening to it on YouTube, it doesn't sound bad, but I think it sounds too serious, orchestra-style for a Sonic game or for something for me to enjoy...

I'm most partial to Live and Learn, overall, but that might be my rose-tinted glasses talking as SA2 is what got me back into the franchise.

I do nonetheless appreciate the experiment with softer vocals in Colors and Unleashed. I was really bummed out when Generations didn't have a vocal theme, even for the credits.

One of my favorites, so much so that I named my Fan-Fic series after the lyrics. The title Edge of Tommorow comes from that song.

Also, I name my episodes idisyncratically off various Crush 40 songs as well as other popular Sonic songs (What I'm Made of, This Machine, Fly High, ect. ).

Sonic Boom held the honor of best lyrical song for years, but I think Live Life just barely edges it out. My Destiny, Fastest Thing Alive, and Live and Learn round out the top five.

My favorite instrumental piece is the Project Chaos version of Sky Sanctuary.

*Growls* Sonic and The Black Knight.  I see Sonic as the villan in that. "Live life to the fullest?" You just killed an entire culture...you commited ethnocide, dooming an enitre Kingdom.  *Slaps in the face.* Damn you SegaSonic, you took a chance for us to eliminate death itself and perserve an entire culture and threw in the garbage. You are not a hero...you are a psychopathic nut job that would make Robotnik blush. I am sure all kids in the cancer ward thank you very much and will take your cheesy and trite advice to their disease-ridden hearts. *Nut shot with a knee*.

It might just be my personal faith showing off a bit, but doesn't an "Eternal Kingdom" of unimaginable splendors seem awfully nice after you have lost a few people you care about? At least try to gather up all these plot-cupons and magic items you keep busting to study so we can gleen knowledge from their potential benifits. For all his power, SegaSonic can be as useless as Reed Richards.  :icon_sad: I think Satam Sonic would do what he did with the powerstones, be wary but not rashly break them over his knee.

While I like Black Knight's story more than that of the other 3D Sonic games (though that's mainly a matter of the bar being set so low), I agree that Sonic's logic completely falls apart at the end...unless there's some downside to Merlina's plan that I'm missing.

Regardless, I consider songs based on their own merits rather than their connection to the narrative. It's why My Destiny ranks so high despite being associated with SonElise.

I have dark plans to do a story (episode) that smacks this one around in a brutal yet subtle deconstruction.
