@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Well, I think this topic have no sense, I mean...Sonic Adventure 3 doesn't exist. Anyway is funny speak about it. Right now the game I think it could be Sonic Adventure 3 is Sonic Heroes.

Any saw the ending credits of Sonic Adventure 2?

"A new day brings a new adventure...

but for now....

Rest easy heroes."

Sonic heroes' teams are made from 3.

In the main artwork,..(I don't know how to spell it on english...let's try...) Have 3 fingers out?.... xD. I think you still understand what I said.

Is like if SEGA is saying "This is Sonic Adventure 3". Anyway is not good that games have a number on it. In my opinion is because of we will never see a Sonic Adventure 3, Is marketing. You can't sell a Sonic "insert number" if the console doesn't have the previous numbers.

That explain everything. Is like "guys, this is Sonic Adventure 3, but we can't sell it with that name". Remember that Sonic Heroes is the first Sonic multiplataform, and the main consoles such Xbox and Playstation still doesn't had Sonic Adventure 1 & 2.

When posting a reply there is an "Image" option under and slightly to the left of the smilies option.  Click on it and post the image URL in the box.  This causes the image to appear in the post rather than as a thumbnail.

Okay, thanks. But it is possible to add a picture in a post when it's about picture i have in my computer? Or it's only for picture we found on the net?

I don't know if is a fake but

SonicHeroes.jpg

I never cared about which one is Sonic Adventure 3. I just read opinions of other guys that explained why they think "x game" is Sonic Adventure 3" and this is the most funny.

Also I remember reading on the book "History of Sonic The Hedgehog" that Sonic Unleashed was Sonic Adventure 3, but in the middle of the development they changed the name. As I said, I don't see in any magazine "Sonic Adventure 3" soooo....and thanks for not be Sonic Heroes or Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Adventure 3 xD

I personaly never want to see Sonic Adventure 3, I'm 100% sure it will dissapoint me. I will expect so much from the game that I will disklike it even if is not a trash.

probably will be the reason why its never made... too much hype and anticipation

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

For his overall style, i consider Sonic '06 as Adventure 3 without wearing the name (with a much more broken gameplay to it).

I think the same if we talk about overall style.

Beside, the game share so much in commun with the Adventure serie: Sonic being chased by a whale, a snowboard sequence, hub-world (i know Unleashed has one, but the one in '06 look closer the Adventure 1), a similar boss fight with Eggman at the end of Sonic story, multiple playable character, etc.

Sonic Adventure 2 doesn't really have a Hub World.  It also has Two (three sort of...) stories to choose from.  Sonic Heroes has no hub world four (five sorta...) stories to choose from.

You also sorta get chased by Whale in Heroes if I remember right.

Going by Style, Adventure 1 and 2 are different enough that Heroes or '06 have equal chances to be Adventure 3.

I was making more a connexion to the first adventure instead of the second. Also, the trio-gimmick gameplay make it stand-out from the Adventure serie. In '06, the character selection is like a hybrid between Adventure 1 and 2: You choose your character (like in Adventure 1). Then, within their own story, you are forced to play with someone else (like in Adventure 2).

Also, in Heroes you get chase by a giant aligator, but not a whale.

Ah but the Trio Gameplay was inspired by the Three members of the Heroes Side Story in Sonic Adventure 2.  The change was rather then playing them on their own you played them as a group.

Maybe, but the result is quite drastic from the gameplay in Adventure (1 and 2).

True.  But Takeshi Iizuka, designer on Nights Into Dreams and the first Sonic Adventure, said in an interview he didn't want to make "Adventure 3" because he was afraid only hard-core fans of the series would play it.  That's one of the reasons why most Sonic games now have a stand alone name.

Since Sonic Heroes follows the Storyline of Sonic Adventure 2 has similar gameplay mechanics (different but still similar) it's safe to say that Heroes is the True Spiritual Successor or the True "Sonic Adventure 3".
