That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

So i am on the GameFAQs Sonic Lost World message board and some people on the boards think Sonic '06 is Sonic Adventure 3 because of certain "points" the have come up with (though me and another person have been disproving them)

 

So question: IS Sonic '06 Sonic Adventure 3


Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

While technically it is very similar to the Adventure Series it technically isn't Sonic Adventure 3 because it wasn't named Sonic Adventure 3.  There are also quite a few differences.  

 

Also technically Sonic Heroes would have been Adventure 3 if you're going by similarities making '06 Adventure 4.

But heres the thing SEGA has said time and time again that they have thought about making Sonic Adventure 3 and they havent ruled it out

Adventure doesn't exactly play like the new 3D games.  It's similar but not quite the same.  So technically Everything after Heroes (if you don't include Shadow the Hedgehog which is a whole nother mess) is not part of the Adventure series. 

 

Heroes is the 'maybe' one as it plays close but is slightly different.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 have their own difference as well. But as for overall, it's obvious that Sonic '06 was made with the design of the Adventure series in mind.

 

I wonder why they still haven't called it Adventure 3.....Ah yeah, that's right: It was a ''reboot''.

Then we have here two direction after the Adventure serie (Shadow and Heroes). But Sonic '06 is closer to the Adventure series, not really on his story standpoint, but for everything else.

Because it's not called Adventure 3 doesn't mean it's not Adventure 3 at all. Sonic '06 IS Adventure 3 without simply wear the name.

But in everywhere but America, Unleashed is called World Adventure. 

 

From what i've heard, in some country like France, the game is called ''Sonic Unleashed: La malédiction du Hérisson''. Which once translated mean ''the Hedgehog curse''.

Both "Sonic Heroes" and "Shadow the Hedgehog" were originally planned to be "Sonic Adventure 3", but they dropped it in favor of appealing to a wider audience. "Sonic 06" kept the gameplay, but was intended to be a reboot of the franchise and not a direct continuation.

 

With that in mind, "Sonic Unleashed" (Sonic World Adventure) is the definite "Sonic Adventure 3".
