That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Another interesting cancelled Sonic Product, Sonic Extreme for the Xbox (No relation to Sonic X-Treme)

 

Sonic Extreme was a cancelled Skateboarding game apparently exclusive to the Xbox Console.  Apparently there was three playable modes: Race, Battle, and Mission.  However the game got canned.  Most people who've seen the footage of it claim it looks awful but since it wasn't even a demo yet, still testing features I kinda like to think it would have been better in the final version.  See for yourself here: 

 

The Game looks awfully similar to Sonic Riders.  Perhaps that's what the game eventually became but who knows. 


While we're at it, there was another Xbox exclusive Extreme Game Cancelled:

All I know is it was going to be a Tactical Shooter.

Anyone Play RiverCity Ransom?  

'Course you have!  It's probably one of the best NES games of all eternity.  

At one point the game actually was going to have a Sequel Made on the GBA.  Armen Casarjian, a Atari Game Tester wanting to become a designer applied for the rights of the name "River City Ransom" and actually won.  He then began creating a Game intended to be the sequel.  Unfortunately Atlus decided to make a remake of River City Ransom and without permission began to work on it.  Armen Casarjian apparently decided to let them without making a big fuss over it and pulled the plug on his game.  You can find out more here: http://www.lostlevel...00402-rcr.shtml

 

I'm both pleased and disappointed in this.  I first Played the Remake of RCR, getting addicted to the Kunio-Kun franchise, before buying my own copy of the NES version.  So without it I wouldn't be a RCR fan.  However it also caused the much needed sequel to be cancelled so.....

Half-Life could still have sell well on the DC. I mean, it's freaking HALF-LIFE! For a console that had sell like what, 8 millions worlwide in 2-3 years, this game could have sell well. 

 

It's like saying how some game like Singularity for exemple should have been cancelled since it was a commercial failure. Or how about Shenmue, should we have been better to cancelled it since it became a commercial disaster?
