I put Marine in 11th place in my top 20 worst character in the Sonic Franchise. Yes, it's a video that i've made in french too. But if you want to see by curiosity....
I kinda pains me to see stuff like this in the Sonic fanbase.
I mean, yeah... Everyone hates something (it's human nature), but if you hate nearly everything in the series, there's almost no point in calling yourself a fan. It be like calling yourself a Disney fan when all you like is "The Lion King" and nothing else.
Fortunately, not all fans are like that. There are people who see the flaws, but have learned to deal with them and think up interesting ideas from them. Take Ian Flynn for example... He isn't a big fan of Marine the Raccoon (he finds her just as annoying as everyone else does), but he learned to tolerate her and have fun writing her in the comics. That's the sign of a true fan folks.
Then there are those who see potential in nearly every character, whether they were misused or misinterpreted. And from what I've seen on your list, most of these characters fall into these categories. They have plenty of imagination and personality behind them, but weren't fully realized yet. For me, this goes for nearly every character in the Sonic franchise; even the ones I personally dislike (i.e. Scratch & Grounder).
That said, I'm suprised you didn't add Sally or Tails to your list, seeing how they've become worse over the years.
