That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

The difference in this one is they actually change the name to Alph, or the Koopalings.

 

But they are exactly the same. The "duplicate" characters such as Ganondorf and Captain Falcon who play exactly the same in Melee, are not just alternate costumes, they do have stat changes.

 

Alph will be exactly the same as Olimar. Just a different appearance.

 

In Marvel vs Capcom 3 you can download a costume for Zero that makes him Megaman X, not Zero in a costume, he is actually Megaman X, but X is not considered a character in that game, he's a skin for Zero.

 

The Koopalings and Alph are skins not characters.

Sakurai directly showed Alph off as a character on Miiverse, they fucking count.

 

If its same moves then its the same character technically

Suuuuuuuuuuuuure you are.  

 

All jokes aside the character list is pretty impressive, but it really doesn't feel as "wow" as Melee and Brawl did.  Probably because it didn't have anything left to "wow" with.

For the time when the original smash bros came out, it was ....purty gud.  I mean nobody really disliked it, but it wasn't until Melee did the series really take off.
