That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Hi! I'm Sonicroc! (An ingenious blend of Sonic and the lesser-known video game character Croc!)

I was a member of the original FUS forums, although I didn't say much, so you wouldn't remember me anyway. I don't tend to spend very much time on forums, as a general rule, but when I do show up, my posts can be quite long.

I'm a "life-long" Sonic fan. I've been subscribing to Archie's Sonic comics since Issue #80, and while I don't play video games as much as I used to, the comics, SatAM, etc. have kept me interested in Sonic.

Anyway, I have returned to FUS, partially because I just heard about Sea3on (which sounds awesome), and partially because, at a glance, this place doesn't seem as dark and cynical as it used to be. I don't know, maybe it's because the box set finally came out, or maybe... it's just my... imagination...? Please don't eat me!!!

Welcome back. I think it's the new blood that's infused the forums with a lighter tone... And perhaps a combination of the 10000 Pages topic and the RPG forum. People are having more fun nowadays.

I think the reason that the forums don't seem as dark is that they literally aren't. The site update last year made things much less gloomy, aesthetically. Then again, I'm unfamiliar with what the site was like prior to late 2011.

You know, I don't think I thought of that at first, but you're right: It seems to me these forums used to be completely black with white text. This new look is much better psychologically, not to mention how much easier it is on the eyes.
