@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

So yes. You heard me right.

I've decided to start another project along with Sea3on (Animated), but this time, it's based in the Pokemon World. Basically, this series will be an animated adaption of the "Pokemon: Adventures" manga, and will follow Red on his journey to become a Pokemon master!

Who's Red, you might ask? This is Red (HE'S NOT ASH)...

Spoiler

If you want to learn more, here's the Facebook page. Just know that I started "Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Production" a few days ago, so don't be surprised that it's pretty blank at the moment. Do me a favor, if you're interested already, go ahead and like it so I can make a custom link for the page.

This is going to be epic! And so is Sea3on (Animated).

Don't get yourself too busy.

Ah Pokemon Adventures, what the anime should have been.

Um, this is really not good. Your project already sounded impossible to me without adding another impossible project to the mix. (I've only been keeping my trap shut about it because I didn't think anybody would want to hear it.) You remind me of my younger self, starting a new grand project every week. To this day, I've yet to complete a grand project or really even a medium project. How can you reassure us you're different?

EDIT: Never mind, I've been set straight now.

Red is WAY better than Ash
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I don't know why people get so caught up in this "Red is not Ash" thing. "Ash" and "Gary" were among the default names for Red and Blue (or Green, as he was called in Japan), y'know.

Yeah, yeah, I know there are adaptations where they're called Red and Blue (or Green) and they use the designs from the game instead of the anime. But unless Red and Ash have met or something, I'm not gonna believe they're two 100% distinct entities.

They way i always saw it was they are the same base character but their actions and personalities are completely different (for example Ash only has like 30 Pokemon out of nearly 700 while Red has about 3x as much as i remember)

Red was the chosen default name for the hero character in the original Pokemon games and Blue(green in Japan) for the rival. In the Pokemon adventures manga these were the names chosen for the main characters. Since the manga has relatively nothing to do with the anime, adventures Red is definitely not Ash.

Also, I believe the chosen color names supported the fact that the player character was you as you got to pick your character's name. Ash wasn't me but another trainer who had a different adventure. Red was me (ignoring the fact I usually go by the nickname Red) because I chose his name and what he did. This separates the two characters as different entities.

Long story short: Ash is another trainer while *insert name here* is you

Honestly the manga tells the story better cause its aimed for 13+

The Anime is too kiddy

It isn't. Who said it was?

Actually the anime started off better. Death and crime were a big deal in the first few episodes (example: Pikachu nearly dies in the first episode, Ash has a panic moment that his Metapod will die in the third episode). Team Rocket was also a big threat as they were competent Ash only defeating them because he got lucky twice. However soon Team Rocket was reduced to be being comedy relief and the Heroes became Mary Sues, having little to nothing ever go wrong for them. Why? Honestly I think the writers ran out of ideas for Ash and Co to grow. Hence why May replaced Misty in later in the series.

I know you've edited it, but let me answer this. I'm different because when I set my mind to something, I don't stop until it's done. You know how much convincing I had to do just to get Sea3on (Animated) started? Not telling, because I'm sure I'm not allowed to, but anyways, it wasn't that easy.

Also, I know the right people, really popular people on YouTube. All I have to do is call them up, and they'll most likely help me out.

And, I just quit let's playing to do this stuff. So I'm pretty dedicated to both Sea3on and this new project. So all the support is appreciated. The reason why I quit let's playing is because I really love doing this whole Producing and Directing thing, and I'm hoping to be one of the two someday as well.

Might as well get started now before it's too late.

You know I thought of doing the same thing a while back, but due to lack of skills and/or friends with the skills I didn't announce it or go any farther than, "Hey That'd be a cool idea"

I don't know how well you do but it's a cool idea and I'm happy if it comes out.

If it doesn't, well doesn't effect me much.
