@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Lets see if Nolan can do the series right
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

We'll see and fine out. Depends on the early reviews.

I think this film will be fine... it looks like a 8 rating film to me. :D

What about The Flash though?

But c'mon man, think about it, even if Sonic was able to beat Superman in a race, you know that Superman would smack ten shades of shit out of Sonic for beating him, afterall:

 That pic is funny!

You know, I enjoy the classic Superman series. Back in the old days... he always seem the most favorite superhero and likeable. Now, he's sort of a jerk in the new comic books.

As for the new movie coming soon... let's see how Nolan do in this story. Let's hope it'll be much better then the classics. Hope it won't end up like Superman Returns! Remember that movie?...

Hate to break it to you Rob, but Superman has always been a dick, as evident here: http://superdickery.tumblr.com/

Returns was a love letter to the Richard Donner Superman flicks (so the first and Donner's cut of II) but it was so lackluster and boring. It was kinda like a Superman movie version of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, just so slow and boring as shit.

Remember the tagline for the original? "You'll believe a man can fly!"

Well Returns tagline should of been "You won't believe how fucking boring this man is!"

I know Superman 4 is a bad movie. But, that was during the 80's. As I was trying to say, I hope the new movie coming out this summer won't be the same boring and lame story like the Returns version. Check out this video and you'll see the five reasons why Superman Returns sucked, enjoy! ;) :

Really? I guess your right... <_< What about his first debut on the first DC Action Comic in 1938? By the way, did anyone here in this borad ever read the very first Superman comic debut? Anyone?...

I've been a Superman fan since i saw 1 & 2 on video at age 4 and collected DC comics since and watched Superfriends cartoons even on ABC and the 1988 Superman toon when i was 6, i did saw that awful part 4 in theaters when i was 5 and it killed the series.

Superman Returns at least ignored 3 and 4 but fell flat, here's hoping the reboot might be as good as Donner's first 2 movies.

I was first introduced to the character through the 40's animated shorts by the Fleischer studios. To this day, the animation and art direction is incredible. It served as an influence for Bruce Timm's "Batman: TAS" later on.

And speaking of which, I really dig the "Superman" animated series. Superman may not be as powerful as his other portrayals in the cartoon series, but in a way, it works. He dosn't feel too overpowered and you feel sorry for him whenever he feels overwhelmed or takes a bad blow. Seeing him nowadays with god-like powers seems a bit cheap to me.

I haven't gotten around to seeing the live-action movies yet (the first 2 that is), but the upcoming one certainly has me interested. I hope it's a good one.

I'm not that big of a Superman fan. If the DC Universe was a video game, Superman would be the game breaker.

I'm still excited for Man of Steel though.

Silver Age Superman basically is God Mode. I've never been the biggest fan, so I think I'll wait a bit and hear what everyone else has to say about the movie before I decide if it's worth it. It looks like it might be good though. I don't know about Superman outrunning Sonic, but if I recall, the Flash can outtrun Superman.

HA!! Your funny. AMC in the next town isnt gonna show it at all and Showcase will show it only at one time. Great Blockbuster my ass (the next one will either be Catching Fire or the second part of the Hobbit) and a momentous occasion for film?? only about 15% of the internet
