@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Exactly, Fan Favorites gone
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I know :( But the fans of the comic will keep reading them even if the chaarcters made from Kenny Boy are gone.

So this is a kinda good news for Archie, but not too good. It's still sad when the people keeps reading them and still don't care for the characters. It's sux, man... oh, well :(

We can say for sure that this is good for buisness, but for us.....Some could say or argue some of the character are good or not. I've never been a fan of Penders, and even if i purely HATE his hypocrisy in this legal case, i have to be fair and give him some credit for many element that now set the standard in the comic. I used to care for many of his character. I was happy to see Remington, Lien-da and also Knuckles familly in issue 243.....before they all been wipe-out totally off-screen. I want to give up this comic because not only i've lost many of my favorite character, but also because this case hurt badly the story. I can get over some thing, as long as i have reason to forgive it. Like for the death of Lock, i was dissapoint with this, but at least it was just one character, but now, it's a pure genocide!

I'm also going to still miss Julie-SU, she may be a tomboy character, but for a tomboy character she's quite appearing and she can show herself she can be more of a kick-@$$ girl then a normal girl. :D I'm still going to miss her and she'll always be one of my favorite sonic's female characters.

The comic may still not be down... but to me it still feels like it.

Current writer Ian Flynn has insisted he will not comment on the specific of the changes in progress and on the way, and has even vowed to never conduct an interview with us again over our continued questions in the matter.

Sounds like Flynn has his work cut out for him then. Who knew comics were such an ugly business? On a side note, does this mean that Flynn is never going to conduct an interview again with TSSZ?

I'm going to miss her too (in fact, i already do). Julie-Su, Lien-Da, Remington, just to name a few, i will miss them. But it's not only them, it's also so many other character that i care more or less, like Sonic parents, Knuckles familly, Rob, the Acorn concil, the secret Freedom fighter (beside Shard and Pothead the Porcupine...i mean Silver), almost everyone at the Wolf Pack Nation, etc. For character like Geoffrey, no one like him. In fact, when i did a top 20 worst Sonic character in my youtube channel, i put him in 12th place. But because of what's happen to him not long ago, that will cause a big gap in the story that will never be fullfil.

Makes sense really. It's a shame that some of these characters might never be included in the book again, but to give it up just because those characters are gone? Eh, a bit silly really.

Plus these characters haven't been flat out killed off. That leaves it open for a possible come back.

I'm being optimistic but its unlikely

Maybe, but the way they are forced out of the story really affect the future in the story in a very bad way.

I'm sure if there was time given, the way they would have been written out would of been handled better, but considering it was pushed upon them at the eleventh hour, that can't be helped.

Besides, I think I'd rather Ian Flynn writing the book with some characters forcefully removed then to actually have Ken Penders and Karl Bollers back again. Let's remember that when those guys were in charge, the comic wasn't exactly selling well.

Me too, i would rather deal with the actual problem being handle by Flynn, but i like the comic for the character and the story. If you take that away, you take two of the main reason why i like this comic. Unfortunatly, in situation like that, even the best writter in the universe wouldn't be able to keep the story on track with all the crap that this comic have to deal with. It's really sad, but it's outside of Ian and/or fans control.

Before we all sweep the comic under the rug and call it dead, let's give the Flynn a chance for new characters.

In all honesty, a lot of the problems Flynn has is he has to write for a large cast that he didn't create. Many of who have large fan bases who basically attack him every time he writes for them. While it is sad that to see them go, but it actually gives us the opportunity actually see what Flynn can do without the already established restrictions.

And then we we grab the torches and pitchforks and raid Penders's place.

Well, this is terrible. I had hoped that somehow this would not happen. I'm not sure how they are going to resolve the part of the plot that revolves around Naugus and Geoffrey now. Perhaps I should give it a few more issues and then just finally give up on the comic.

That would actually be a good idea.

That's the reason why I personally believe that the Mega Man comic works so well.

You'll have to wait longer. The Sonic/Mega Man crossover has delayed the main story.
