Title says it all. We are quickly figuring out that putting together an animated series involves a lot of moving pieces. Too many for us to juggle all the same time in fact. That said we are looking for some qualified individuals willing to donate some of their time to help out with a small but very important task.
What is that you will be doing you ask?
We need a designer of sorts. In order for our script writers to be able to navigate through Mobias, we have to have a map of the place. For starters we need a basic maps of Knothole and Robotropolis. These will need to be based on the details found in the Sea3on comic and SatAM show.
Now keep in mind we are not just looking for top down views. While this a big component of it, we also need what the structures look like from the outside and inside. For example, if you label a house as Sonic's house, we then also need reference sketches of both the outside and inside. This will help our writers and artist stay consistent through out the series. In many cases you might be able to use screen grabs from the show or clips from the comic to fulfill this part of the requirement. This maps should be as detailed as possible while not over complicating things. In short, if it is mentioned in the show or comic, and it is of significance, it should have a place on the map.
If you are interested in undertaking this, what I now realize is not a small task at all, reply to this thread. This position is by appointment, so we will take the most qualified individuals. Post any relevant work or experiences you have that would make you stand out.
This is the first of more odd jobs to come. So if this isn't your forte, perhaps the next thing will be.
