there is little to no reason to make a robot Sonic to fight Sonic.
I disagree. Given that the mass-produced, standard issue SwatBots, though more effective than most "mook" enemies in similar forms of media, repeatedly fail to bring down the Freedom Fighters, it makes sense for Robotnik to focus on creating a single, elite unit hand-crafted to kill Sonic. Having it specifically be a robotic counterpart simply adds a psychological edge, as well as a taste of irony that Robotnik would no doubt savor.
More importantly, it works well from a thematic standpoint. By creating Metal Sonic, Robotnik attempts to prove that the individual can be equaled and ultimately surpassed by the artificial, that Sonic's spirit is no match for the cold, hard, unfeeling hands of science and industry. Sonic's defeat of Metal Sonic is thus a declaration that this viewpoint is invalid, that the strength of an individual stems from within rather than being tied to physical ability and can never be artificially replicated. That is very much in line with the core themes of the series.
And yes, I want Sonic to go Super when the series reaches its climax. Just once, hopefully with at least some degree of metaphorical significance or other narrative complexity. It may be done to death in the games, but there's definitely opportunity here for Super Sonic to feel genuinely special again one last time.

Not really. I think that instead of new characters, they should flesh out the characters that they have, like the nameless ones and the Wolf Plack.Am i the only one that wants to keep the main cast as is and do not want to add any one else?
Scourge would be an interesting character for the series.
Possibly in the 6th season.
What do you guys/gals think?
I have no idea who that is.
I know who Knuckles and Shadow are. Don't know the rest...I want to see Mina the Mongoose, Knuckles, Julie-SU, Lien-Da, Fiona the Fox, Rob o' the Hedge, and Shadow the Hedgehog in the next season of SatAM.
Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...
Entire world population infected 2,7000 hours from first contact.

Changing super sonic in some way to make him interesting again is a brilliant idea, but if they just wanted to use the regular Super Sonic in the comic/animated series, then it doesn't have to be happen at the end of the series, I think it would feel too generic to be the main finale after how much he's been used in the games, but it doesn't have to be sonic's strongest form either, I'd like to see super sonic, but then at some point a form beyond that, something original and awesome which fits the style of SatAM and doesn't feel like fanfiction. Don't think any more than two forms beyond original sonic (in other words sonic -Super Sonic -New form) would be a good idea otherwise we'd be getting into shounen levels of forms and story.

I'd rather not see anyone else included unless if its necessary
I can agree with that.
Only characters of importance should be in this series.
NO LEGION.
NO DESTRUCTICX.
NO BULLSHIT.
ONLY METAL SONIC.
And why may I ask are you so against these characters being apart of Sea3on if possible? If given the proper roles, I think they could really be an interesting mix for the series.
But yea, I'll agree with you about Metal Sonic. Although, if he's going to make an appearance, then he needs to be a serious threat. None of this being reduced to a metal goomba for Sonic to spin dash with ease crap.

"Everyone creates the thing that they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people...? CHILDREN! (chuckles) Lost the word there..."

Only if they can be done WELL.
That was my whole point. If given the proper roles and character development, then I believe they would only be a benefit to the series.
I can understand why you're not too keen about these characters, with Archie screwing them up badly with horribly written plotpoints and ridiculous moments that made no sense, but that doesn't mean they are bad characters so much as the fact Archie has handled them horribly.

Naugus's master?? What about that wizard dude who appeared in one episode
If I recall, someone asked that same question in another topic before. If I recall, the person who answered pointed out that there are differences in the magic that the two use. Lazar has a powerful computer that grants spells to those who have it, while Naugus uses magic that appears to be more elemental in nature. It's not far-fetched for Lazar to be Naugus' master, but I doubt it. The two are just too different in their methods.

If Lazar doesn't have magic abilities himself and can only rely on a computer to do it for him I very much doubt he's Naugus's master.
