I don't think more game characters should be introduced. It would seem rushed, like "oh great, four chapters as an excuse and now they're turning it into SEGASonic continuity again".

Since Sea3on is a fan attempt to recreate what the origonal 3rd season could've been, it would have to aknowlage the time period it would've aired in. Since Amy was around back then, she would have the same rights as Knuckles and Metal Sonic to apprear in the series. Other game characters weren't introduced yet, so it would've been quite a while before they could appear.

If Sea3on continues to gets more seasons, they could introduce the other characters according to their debute date.

Amy? Meh, maybe in Season 4...

I think that when the character was originally introduced should be also taken into account.

I mean, it would not be nice to include characters from very recent games, no matter how popular they are. If this is made to show how a third season would have been, it has to be made as if it was done in the 90s.

I don't think Amy should ever be introduced, no matter what it would instantly create a divided fanbase and fanboy wars on videos of the animated series at least (not sure about the comic), most of it being rabbid amy fanboys wanting Sally to die in a fire, I don't think a love triangle plot makes sense when you see how much sonic & sally support each other in dark, post apocolyptic esque times and they're always nearing extinction, especially not with Amy, if they were ever to do that plot imo an original character would be much better for it, Amy has no character anyway apart from being annoyingly obsessive, pointless character.

Is the issue of fan-war important? Had SatAM continued, I'm sure the origonal writers would have no problem adding Amy to the cast. Back then, they could depict the character however they wanted. She was originally Tails' age, right? So why not have her be a member of Tails' fanclub for Sonic? She could be a buddy for Tails to hang out with. It could work.

Big Cat... No.
Rouge... Poably not, unless if she manages to steal the emerald. Other than that... No.
Shadow... That's a hard one, but not unless he is a clone of Sonic made by Snively, not by Gerald. Of course, Shadow was meant to be a WMD, same as Emeryl, who was made by the same guy, Gerald, but eventually began to question his existance, due to his soul.
That's about all I have at the moment, with proof of whether or not they/he/she dhould/shouldn't be in Sea3on...

I don't see anything wrong with these characters. If SatAM continued into the 2000's and kept the same premise it always had, these characters could still work.

Cream and Big could be a minor residents at Knothole, Rouge could act as a freelancer to either side, and Shadow and Gerald could still be incorporated into the continuity. I mean, we don't know where Robotnik came from or what inspired him. Since he's related to Snively, he must have a family somewhere.

Heck, one of Ben Hurst's origonal ideas for the 3rd season mentions a space station that Robotnik tries taking over. That could've easily been the ARC.

So what? That hasn't stopped us from asking why the SatAM cast aren't included in any of the Sega games.

Each universe is different, but they all have common elements. Sally, for example, appeared in the Fleetway universe (with a different makeover), and characters from Fleetway appeared in the Archie universe as well. Heck, SatAM and Archie are considered by many fans to be separate universes, yet they have a lot in common.

If that's the case, what's to stop Sonic's siblings from making an appearance? Heck, many ideas used in "Underground" were origonally for SatAM, including Manic and Sonia.

Sea3on is based off SatAM. So, is Sea3on added characters like Knuckels into the mix, it would make snese, because SEGA loves a good cameo. Most probably, the worlds collide comic is not part of Sea3on, but if it was, would it make sense?

Well, it wouldn't be a bad idea to introduce some concepts, only very differently from the games.

I like the idea of Amy being just a kid, and annoying Sonic. But please, let it be, don't do the "AGE UP!" thing in the comics.

Shadow: well, I'd have to check dates and stuff... just, basing us on a one year per season rate, in which season could Shadow have appeared? The space station part would fit nicely, and Uncle Chuck could have had something to do with it. That way, it's different enough to be SatAMized and the backstory is simplified.

As for Manic and Sonia... name cameo? I like how, in the comics, Sonic and Sally's children, no matter what future it is, are named Manic and Sonia. Maybe the names for Sonic's parents? Gojira has shown how there is no respect (and I like it) for the Archie names at all, so why not?

Look behind Sonic, and you might see a fox character that resembles Tails. That is Skye Prower. He is not rejected. He was/is used in Sonic Underground.
