@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

You think we're gonna shut up because of some sarcastic little Flynn-worshiper with Sonichu as an icon?

I like the fact you call me an "Flynn worshipper" when I don't even read the comic much save for the odd issue here and there. I guess if I don't rant, scream, shout and stamp my feet at the writer of a kiddy comic which is based off a video game franchise mostly aimed at little kiddies like some butt-hurt faggot, that clearly makes me a fan of the guys work. Shiiiiiiit, I've been wrong all this time...

Actually, let me go check to see if I have a little shrine hidden in my wardrobe dedicated to Ian Flynn... Hmmm... Well what do you know, I don't! If there's any comic writer I worship, it'd be James Robert since that motherfucker knows how to write a comic.

And yeah, so I got Sonichu... wait, correct that, a butt-faced Sonichu for an avatar. So what of it?

Tell you what, I'll let you get back to your DA group where you can all rabble and rant about Ian Flynn, go on about how you all clearly know how to run a long running comic series published by one of the oldest publishers around to this day and carrying on with your... *ahem* "genius" fanfiction you have going. You guys are serious business afterall, I don't wanna mess with such a hardcore group of badasses.
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Depends on what you call "a chance". If you mean not talking shit about him like we're doing here, I can agree to that. If you mean letting him start up the hype machine like he did the first time around, hell no. (I never bought into that hype the first time around and I hated how it flooded the forum with newbies. Not that newbies are bad in and of themselves, but if you were there then you know what I mean.)

Aye. If he's going to come up with something worthwhile then that'll be great. It would just be nice if he came up with something solid to show rather than always fan-faring about what he was going to produce. That was the pattern last time, over and over.

That said, he contributed to some wonderful works, so let's perhaps watch this space.

Hey if the guy wants to try whatever again..He can go at it. I mean we haven't seen eye to eye on much but I'm not going to talk shit over him. No reason to.
One of the reason's fan projects never happen in this community is there is way too much shit throwing and not enough actual work.

I'm not looking for a name calling, knuckle-dragging fight here. I'd just like to point out a few things since I'm the one being attacked for no good reason (again)

Today, MAX told me on DeviantART that he is doing his pitch again. Honestly, after what happened last time, I think he is just out for attention again.

Why aren't you showing the preceding messages in that topic? The topic about Sonic Freedom Fighters? This?

http://anti-archie-s...SatAM-325190632

The topic as it was before you selectively edited it? You also wrote "lets also hope that the Matt Sullivan reboot is true." And you repeated it on a duplicate topic over on Saturday Morning Sonic. Not to sound sarcastic, but it seems to me that you are the one looking for attention.

The guy who said he was gonna get SatAM rebooted and just screwed us all over!

Excuse me. Pray tell good sir, how did I "screw you over" ? ( Before you respond, I urge you to remember that I have never, EVER promised anything. I have never said the show would be made. And I never said anything other than I was working or not working on a pitch. )

He didn't even try to bring SatAM back, it was just a hoax to boost his inflated ego.

If defending yourself from ridiculous, baseless attack is "ego" then I'm happy to have one. Also friend, you don't know the circumstances going on in my life and I don't know yours. The difference is, I wouldn't presume anything about you like you did with me. Maybe if you ASKED why I never went along with it, I would have told you. But none of you ever have. But if you'd like to know a small reason why I didn't pursue a Sonic show, it's because of topics like this, and fans like you.

Yeah uh....what professional Animations has he actually done?

http://www.imdb.com/...ationDepartment

( there's some stuff missing from this page ) but there ya go slick.

The guy always brags about being an animator on the Simpsons when all he's done are just storyboards!

Tell me where, and WHEN I "bragged" about my work. I'm both BTW, an animator AND storyboard artist.

The guy sounds like a douchebag.

You've never met me. How can you make that assumption if you've never met me?

This guy is way worse then someone like Richard Kuta!

Don't lump me in with that guy. He's a twit who couldn't get over another person possibly being involved with Sonic who might "steal his glory". He's also one of the reasons I decided to halt my pitch originally. Wanna badmouth someone? Go do it to him. I just put up a video the other day, and 2 hours later there he is making a snide comment about it. I would have told him to ( insert swearing here ) but as it stands, I made the video for a friend and it's not my place to regulate comments on his YouTube channel.

It wasn't a "hoax" or anything; he was just a flake

I don't disagree with this. You're right. I QUIT. ( Until recently ) The long and the short of it is that many factors including family, health, and work, have simply gotten in the way. I've explained that before, but it doesn't seem to sink in. Try working 8-10 hours a day and coming home. I simply had no energy to spare on Sonic. But recently, I have come into some free time and that's when I told Funnel Vortex about my plans to possibly reboot my pitch. ( Casually, I might add. )

By the way, if I was looking for attention, don't you think I would have come here, or onto SMS, instead of telling one measly DA account holder? Coming here, I'm just defending myself like any self respecting person would.

My two cents...I have no more to give.

I'm with animax. So far, he's the only guy with higher connections that has shown any interest in reviving the old show. With Sega currently trying to make the Sonic series a major franchise again, the opportunity for another animated series to air is pretty good.

A SatAM revival project feels less pointless if it is a hoax. At least then there's some ulterior goal that might get accomplished.

If he's being serious about it i want concrete proof.

I can't give you "concrete proof" because if I bring out any material I'll just be criticized as someone trying to get attention. The only people who would see it are my agent and whoever owns the rights to Sonic ( Cookie Jar or..whoever )

And forgive me if I sound bitter but, I don't WANT to share anything with the fans. Not after all this.

Try to get a pitch and give us whoever has the rights (DiC, Cookie Jar, Sega whomever) responds and i think most of us (including myself) will forgive you.

I'd be satisfied if it was a letter or the beginning of a letter of the pitch or something along those lines to show that your serious about it

In all honesty I agree with him. Its the same reason why I'm not rambling on about what I'm doing with the S3 animation. You don't show stuff till you...Well, have stuff to show.

I mean I have stuff I could show, hell have a lot of pencil animation already completed. BUT...not going public with it.

Making a big deal out of it is.. More what ruins stuff. Big talk, people get way too excited, yadda yadda and so on. Basically its best not to show stuff or eve talk much about it till... You are well on the way.
