Medal of Honor: Frontline. 8/10 it feels SO different playing this now compairing it to modern FPS but i enjoy this game. Has great music as well

Oh yeah, that game was great! I have it for the original Xbox. I still love the Omaha landing scene in this game. The rest of the game is great as well. This game was in the time when what you where doing was accomplish different objectif, instead of just running foward in an empty corridor like in modern FPS. We don't see game like that these day

My favorite was Arnhem Knights

The last good Medal of Honor game was: Medal of Honor Airborne. Sure, this game have some flaw, like the A.I., the game was kinda short and felt like it lack a bit of polish. But i really like the concept of dropping down of a airplane to a more than decent size map to find and accomplish different objectif. It's much more fun than those CoD game or those CoD wanabe. The ost was incredible in this game (just like in every MoH). Unfortunatly, MoH Airborne was overshadow by CoD4, which was released the same year. But for me, i like MoH Airborne more than CoD4 because it offer a bit of a fresh air for a overused concept (FPS WW2). CoD4 may have change the setting for modern warfare shooter, but now CoD4 is just another FPS modern war game like so many other.

If my english can look like crap, don't kill me...please? French is my native language!
PS: I love bacon. Why? Because i said so...(i also love the Dreamcast)

I think that what make CoD4 so popular (beside the hype), was that in the ocean of WW2 FPS, CoD4 was going to give us something different: a new war in our modern time. What make it good in 2007 is now the reason why CoD4 doesn't worth anything anymore. The problem with CoD4 is that this game was doomed to be good only for some time, when modern shooter where few and far between. Because if you look at it, CoD4 is just CoD2 with a new paint job and new story/war. For the gameplay perspective, it was like many other game, only the story/setting that make it stand out from the rest. But today, with a ocean of modern shooter, CoD4 no longer have the reason to worth anything. His concept of modern war is overused by so many other, the graphic (which was incredible at the time when it came out) is now outdate, and everything that this game can do have now been done by so many other, making this game no longer relevant.

Normal, because everyone is now making only these ''Modern fictionnal FPS war game''. The only new FPS WW2 that i've heard of is Ennemy Front, but the development seem to have problem. It's could likely be a game that will never be released.

They did, its called Assassin's Creed 3 (even though its T.P.)

A WW1 game would be great too. But what about the Korean war, the Vietnam war? Heck, why not a FPS for the war of 1812?

I was more refering to the battle that took place between 1950 to 1953. For what happen after that is an another story, for an another day.

Assasin's Creed 3 (PC): 5/10
It's a GTA-like game during the American revolution in the 18 century. Rock-solid graphic, excellent presentation and incredible re-creation of the era, the game suffer mainly because of his lackluster gameplay and shallow story. The combat are not well handle, being too easy and are more or less just boutton mashing to win. The main character is boring and the story take forever to be interesting.

How so? What's make the PC version different? I use a wired Xbox 360 controller for PC to play the game. Did the console version have a totaly different story and gameplay?

no but i know people who have better experiences on the console than PC

I will admit Connor wasnt as exciting as Ezio or Altair.

So far, the only difference that i know between the two version (between the PC and console) is the anti-aliasing and better frame-rate for PC. For the rest, i don't know what can make them different.

I'm just talking from experience. Like i played AC:R on 360 and the PC and the PC version wasnt as good as the 360 version. Maybe its being a console gamer for all my life or something like imput lag or whatnot.

Well, i'm much more of a console gamer than anything, but sometime, i can enjoy getting a game for free on my PC when i can (who said ''illegal download''?). I was telling myself that if this game would be fun, i would probably consider buying it for PS3 (why not for 360? Well, because the PS3 version is in 1 disc instead of 2). But after playing it for i don't know how much hour, i got bored with this game. The story don't seem to lead anywhere and the gameplay suffer from issue (like when i'm running, if i run close to a wall, Connor have the awful obsession to smash his face to it like a freaking magnet).
