@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

The only games I'd give 10/10s are Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure and Portal 2.

Sonic Adventure don't deserve a perfect score. Camera issue, collision detection problem, awful voice acting/writting, Big the Cat, etc.

Some of the rarest game that i could give a perfect score are, Super Mario World, Yoshi Island, Sega Ages (for the Saturn), Sonic 3 & Knuckles and maybe Red Dead Redemption.

I'm sorry, but these flaw are in the game. I don't wan't to offend you by saying this, but i don't have the control over the quality of a game.

For me, what is the most important when i do a review is to be able to judge the quality of a game based on the actual fact, rather than opinion. Some element, like the artistic style for exemple, is more likely to depend on opinion. But for other factor, like the graphics, control, level desing, or other technical stuff, is something that no one can have any control over.

For exemple, if i said that a game suffer from slowdown (like Sonic 06 for exemple), the game DO have slowdown. These kind of problem can't be a matter of opinion, because even by denying it, it would still be slowdown.

I only played the DX version, so I don't have much of those problems.

And Big's story isn't bad once you get used to it. Or pretend that it's a different game.

The camera and colision problem are also present in the DX version as well. Same goes for the writting and voice ating, mostly because the dialogue aren't change at all.

For Big story, it's just HORRIBLE, and im generous here. He as no purpose in the story whatsoever. Sure, his ''froggy'' may have the ''chaos tails'' or some crap like that, but it add too little to the story to really make a difference. In the end, Big story is completely useless. His gameplay is even worse. Big have to sit on his fat ass to collect his ''Froggy''. But fishing in this game is not well handle. The rope constanly being push too hard and not too hard, making the difficulty more arbitrary than anything. Fortunatly, Big story his short, but it doesn't excuse to be as bad as it is.

Also, pretending that Big story is just a ''different game'' is just a easy way to avoid the problem and forgive the flaw who are not forgivable.

He has a point with S.A. the camera was terrible and Big... and Amy downplayed its value a bit.

Red Dead Redemption i give a 9.75/10
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Big was tedious, Amy was okay, and Gamma was addicting as hell.

I sold my Black Ops 2 to my roommate cause i got bored of it REALLY quickly. If (and when) they make the new one i probably wont get it.

Battlefield 3: 9.25. Short Campaign but playing Multiplayer with me friends is always the best

I was able to play Battlefield 3's multiplayer mode for a couple hours before my roommate had to return it to GameFly, so i never played campaign. Really good game though, and yea multiplayer was awesome when i played it

Giving a 10 to a CoD game is just ridiculous! The best game in the serie is the first one, and even by that, this game don't deserve a 10. A perfect score should be deserve ONLY to the best of the best game out there, not to any random game. For me, the only game that could deserve should a high score are very rare.

I understand you're speaking your mind about your feelings on CoD, that's okay. I was talking about in my own mind it's a 10. It may not be a 10 in anyone else's mind but like i said, i don't play alot of first-person shooter games. However that and the 1st CoD were the best i've played so far. I've played a few others here and there but that's pretty much it. It was the last game i played so i reviewed it.

An very rare photo of the late singer Aaliyah next to a statue of Sonic...

Now that is "One In A Million!"

Hum, i wasn't speaking my mind, but rather speaking about the fact. Whether you like it or not, CoD game have some technical flaw that are present, flaw that prevent these game to be better that they could be. Opinion can be argue, that's why i always speak for fact in a review, not my opinion. To end all this, a score should always be fair according to the actual quality of the game. Giving a score of 10 for a game like CoD is not fair, because you give such an undeserve score.

Pretty much every bad guy suck when compared to Vaas. It's just sad that Vaas isn't more present in the game.

Also, i've play Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon a bit these last few days. This game is weird, it make no sense....and it's AWESOME because of it :D . It's in a nuclear world full of '80 action/science-fiction movie cliché and this game will offer a moment of pure nostalgia. With 8-bit cut-scene, cheesy one-liner, cyborg ennemy and explosion, so far this game ROCK!

Blood: 8.5/10
It's a old FPS for PC like we don't see these day. Alot of weapon, a horror style ambiance and a good difficulty level, to remind us how game used to give us a good chalenge. The story is....is don't know and i don't care. But there's zombies, so go kill them. Dynamite, forch, flare gun, Tommy Gun and shotgun, along more will be your best friend in this action/horror awesomeness of the '90 game. Made with the ''Build Engine'', the same engine used for Duke Nukem 3D, this game never got the attention that he deserve, AND IT'S A DAMN SHAME! Conclusion, this game ROCK!

Oh yeah, that game was great! I have it for the original Xbox. I still love the Omaha landing scene in this game. The rest of the game is great as well. This game was in the time when what you where doing was accomplish different objectif, instead of just running foward in an empty corridor like in modern FPS. We don't see game like that these day :(
