If I was to ever make a video game, THIS is what it would be: a cool time traveling premise with a Juno and Veronica Mars vibe. Love it.

Okay, instead of just giving scores now, explain why (in some detail) of why it got this score and a short synopsis of the game

Splatoon - 9/10
It doesn't feel much like a shooter, more like just its own fun game. Multiplayer is amazing and improving often, and the Single Player is great too. Kind of a Spiritual Succesor to Mario Sunshine.
SteamWorld Dig: A Fistful of Dirt - 8/10
A rather fun and addicting indie game. It's repetetive, but it's ery satisfing to find new things in the caves.

"Everyone creates the thing that they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people...? CHILDREN! (chuckles) Lost the word there..."

Banjo-Kazooie 10/10
I love this game. I love it lots. The gameplay is freaking amazing, The story although cheesey is fun to follow.
Banjo-Tooie 9/10
Despite my claims in my let's play of it, I do not hate this game, it's great. Just I don't know what to do half the time and the levels are so huge you can't find what to do.
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse - 9/10
Who doesn't love platformer games. It's got upgrades, it's got cool characters and a great humor.
OlliOlli - 2/10
I'm sure someone could like this game. If they really tried.
SteamWorld Dig: A Fistful of Dirt - 5/10
I might change my mind when I get farther in the game, but it starts up so slow that I don't care to come back to it. Similar to Majora's Mask.
Splatoon - 8/10
It was great at first, but some of the new maps just don't work very well. Also I've had my personal score higher then the best player on the opposing team with his 300 point winning bonus and still lost because my team was so bad. Even if you're an amazing player if your team sucks, you lose.
Paper Mario - 10/10
This game is amazing. I love everything about it. The gameplay is solid, the characters are great. Even the story is awesome. I've heard it questioned before "How Did Bowser build his castle underneath Princess Peach's?" Well we played Mario 64, there's Bowser's port, a toxic waste pit, a desert, and literally hell in the lower levels of the castle, what Toad is ever gonna go down there?

OlliOlli?
It's an indie skateboarding game. I gave that and SteamWorld to him as gifts when I bought the Nintendo Humble Bundle.

This was a very disapointing game. It was very overhyped for me, and I found it to be riddled with annoying levels/level design. Adding to this is the 3DS excluisvie glitches. The secret lum is impossible to get without an exploit, the framerate chugs badly, thr music seems off.
Play Rayman Origins instead, it's a far better game.

Dude, even if it's an inferior version, I hate the level design. And need I remind you that the 3DS version is designed almost EXACTLY like the Dreamcast version?
Rayman Origins is Best.

No. it's a port the Dreamcast version.
And the Playstation 1 version is the worst. Only 800 lums, less levels and shit voice acting.

The N64 one was the very first version.
And most fans PREFER the gibberish.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse - 10/10
While the other two Shantae games don't interest me very much, (the first one being too difficult and not aging well and the second one being way too short and boring) this one is designed to near perfection.
Only a few areas really frustrated me, and the bosses, ranging from piss-easy to erractially hard, are all enjoyable. Except Dargon (the game mispells that on purpose). He sucks.
And the humor is great, almost on the level as Paper Mario or Kid Icarus Uprising. One joke right at the very behinning of the game had me laughing for several minutes.
The price may seem steep, but buy this game. Do it. Now.
I'll wait here.
(VHS waits until he starves)

Animal Crossing: New Leaf - 7/10
I like Animal Crossing for around a month straight before I get bored. But that's actively playing it straight. I recently bought this copy so I could be mayor, my old file was on someone else's copy. I enjoy playing the game but I decided I should play it similarly to a mobile game, get on in the morning do the stuff I need to, then maybe get on in the evening but that's about it.
As much fun as this game is, I'm fairly certain I should've bought Pokemon X instead.

It's Batman...with cars. Nearly everything requires the Batmobile now. Most things you do as Batman is just to clear a path so you can use the Batmobile more. Now don't get me wrong, once you get the controls, driving the batmobile can be a blast, but it doesn't feel like Arkham anymore. Rather than a Detective/Stealth Superhero game it feels like another action game...
...or Gta

Every Final Fantasy Game I've Ever Bothered to Play - 0/10
FUCK THESE OVERRATED GAMES. TOO DIFFICULT AND BORING GAMEPLAY.

Obviously VHS, you've been playing the ones like FF7.
The best ones I've played are FF1,9,10, and 12. (These are also about the only ones I've put effort into playing besides Crisis Core and FF7)
If we include spin-offs and lesser known titles Final Fantasy Tactics is by far the best one in the series. Not one even comes close. As you know from my top 20 games, only Tactics made it on the list, and at 7 if I recall correctly. None of the Final Fantasy games are in even my top 50 games.
Anyway, onto my review
Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble - 10/10
This is the reason to own a PSP (well and Tactics's PSP Remaster). I'll even stretch that, if you only own a Vita, it's also the reason to own a Vita. It is my favorite PSP game, it would've been second favorite, but I play Metal Gear Peace Walker on the PS3 HD Remastered version.
(Also as noted that means my top 20 video is not correct, but when I made that I hadn't played Kenka Bancho since I had forgotten about the PSP. I literally hadn't played it for a few years. Not just the game, the entire console.)
Kenka Bancho is about Takashi Sakamoto (or since you choose the first name of the character in my case he was Riki Sakamoto) and the goal is to prove that you're the most badass bancho in Japan, by beating all 47 banchos of prefectures in Japan on your 7 day high school senior trip to Kyoto.
This game is packed with humor, a fun story, numerous subplots that require you to replay the game a few times in New Game+ Mode, and a whole bunch of random events and other things that just are kinda there.
Most of the game is you beating up yankii (delinquents) and getting itineraries so you know where to find the banchos during the different times and days. It feels very much like River City Ransom (probably one of the best NES games around) and although I've never played it, it's often quoted to play similar to "God Hand."
One of my favorite/least favorite parts about this game is you have to dig deep and have a specific portion that you're looking for to find a guide of this game. So unless you're dead certain on using a guide you won't be able to find one so you gotta do a lot of it by yourself.
I myself have created an excel document, listing all the bancho locations at the specific times and days, along with the subplot event locations. Even with my spreadsheet allowing me to figure out the best route to take to get as much done in a single day as allowed, it is impossible to get all the banchos and due more than one subplot.
Sorry I guess I just have a lot to say about this game.
