@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Another World: 20th Anniversary (WiiU version)

Kickass in just about every possible way. Runs like a dream and the new augmentations treat the original with respect and care (and can be turned off if you want the original art). Short and sweet and wonderful.

Skyrim Legendary Edition - B

Too low of a score

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Skyrim Legendary Edition - B

Too low of a score

Accurate.  The game is filled with glitches and graphical errors, the gameplay does not help new players to the Elder Scrolls series learn to play, and it's hard to figure out what to do and where to go.

That said the game is rather fun and the story is pretty interesting....though I'm not sure if the story I speak of is my main quest or a side quest.

Team Fortress 2

Oh how i love thee. let me count the ways: 9 unique, varied and balanced classes to play as, a colourful aesthetic matched by lively characters and a jazzing soundtrack; good modes to play in (no deathmatch however, maybe that's what your "personal best" stats are for), well designed maps; it's a Free to Play game that doesn't try and shake you down (unless you want keys to unlock those infernal Mann.Co crates), the weapons and items fell just right; a co-op mode that is a good take on zombies in and industry dominated by zombies, the pace of the battles is always fast and frantic... and don't get me started on all the mods.

highest recommendation!

You got the inferior PS3 version then

Also researching the differences between versions, the PS3 has the worse graphics true, but the PC/Steam version is ONLY good if your computer can handle it at high graphics.

And my 360 is my poor system that I avoid buying games for unless I have no choice.

360 is the best version (not including PCs that can handle it)

No the 360 one LOOKS better.  That's the only difference.  You also have to pay extra for a Kinect feature that you probably aren't using anyways.

No one uses Kinect

System Shock 2 - 9.5/10

Playing BioShock before this and hearing all the hubbub with it's ancestors practically made me interested with the one that started it all, well, the second one that is, the first one looks interesting but the controls and the HUD just wasn't comfortable enough for me that i annoyed-quit at the end of the Medical Sector, sorry Citadel, i prefer the Von Braun.

So, SS2, well, after finishing it just today. I got a few things to say.

System Shock 2 is the example of how games in the older days were so complex and feel replayable with different stats/classes, it makes BioShock look and feel dumbed-down massively in comparison, the atmosphere of both the Von Braun and the Rickenbacker is just spectacular while looking creepy with it's inhabitants of the Many and even though graphics aren't really good, there's still mods made by faithful fans of the series that thankfully made the game a bit timeless.

The villain or SHODAN, even though she's creepy in a lot of ways, is actually a nagging barf imo, practically insulting me every 10 seconds after i found out the twist and having to hear about her so-called patience (That shouldn't exist because she's an AI.) run out.

Music is pretty nice and catchy although a bit un-fitting for some situations.

If only not for the awful ending would i give this a 10/10.

I suggest anyone to play it!

Cave Story - 8.5/10

An almost perfect game, story and gameplay-wise, pretty impressive since it was made by a single man.
There is only one single flaw that comes to mind:

Reach was my favorite. I really enjoy customizing Characters.

ODST is my second favorite. I really like the storyline.

To detail a little more on these scores... because my friends tried to force me to think Master Chief was the coolest, any game he's the main got docked because I can't like Master Chief because of that.

Also Reach was the first one I played. So ODST got docked on the controls not matching and not being as good (I really like the Reach controls, best FPS controls I've ever used). Halo 2, had the worst of the two with bad controls (or at least ones I didn't like) and Master Chief.

Halo Wars is because not being a fan of the series I didn't give a dang about it being an RTS, and I already like RTS games so it did really good in my opinion.

I'll also point out FPS is one of my least favorite genres of all time.
