@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Best Indie game i have played has been MineCraft (Mojang is still considered an Indie deveoper)

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I have try Minecraft a bit and didn't really get into it. There's some other game which really suck me in, like Miasmata. I feel like i repeat myself, but this game....it's special for what it is and make you want to see more to find out what mystery this island can hide.

PS: I've just try Cave Story and so far so good. I'm gonna play more this week (along other title)...

I think Indie Games are overrated.  Not the games themselves but the concept of "Indie Games."

I'm not saying there shouldn't be Independent Developers, but I believe games should be judged on the game individually and not who makes it.  Just because a game is made by an Independent, doesn't make it instantly good or instantly bad.  There is no difference between an Indie Game and a Non-Indie Game.  They're all just Games.

I don't judge indie game based on their creator, but from the game itself. Indie game are more open to originality, since they aren't under contract or forced to be submit to other commercial pratices.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say.  People keep telling to play the indie games because they're "better" but they're not.  I don't know why people can't just call it a game.  xD

They tend more to offer different gameplay approach than most big budget title. They are game, sure, but they are game with style and/or gameplay which i rarely ever see elsewhere.

Saint's Row 4- 8.5/10

They might as well call this pop-culture the game with all jokes and refences to not just other games, but to movies, tv shows, internet memes, etc. In fact the basic premise is a spoof of "The Matrix", after stopping a terrorist attack on Washington, DC, you, the leader of the Third Street Saints becomes the president of the United States but the party is short lived by an alien invasion by the Zin empire who put you a virtual version of Steelport(the city from Saint's row the third) in order to break your will. Thankfually some of your crew escape and help you get free, now you need to explore the virtual world to save the rest of the saints and take the fight to the Zin. The thing that sets this game apart from the rest of the series is the fact you now have superpowers which makes the game slighty easy, but there are missions where you'll be resticted from using them. Having superspeed from the start in fact makes car custimization or driving redundant. However the side missions and the various powers you can unlock make this a very enjoyable sandbox game.

StarCraft Mass Recall

8/10

StarCraft Mass Recall is a fan remake of the Original StarCraft and StarCraft Brood War Campaigns playable in StarCraft II.  I have to say it's really enjoyable however it falls short on being perfect.  The Enemy AI on some missions 'Cheats' and doesn't follow the coding the original version had them do as well as a few cosmetic problems specifically for characters and units that didn't appear in StarCraft II.

However overall it's pretty fun.  Specifically since they added multiple difficulties, and a few levels have a TPS option that is fun to use.

If you're a fan of the original StarCraft this is a good set of Maps to download.  If you're not a StarCraft fan, I would suggest buying the StarCraft BattleChest and play the originals yourself.  Also you have to own a copy of StarCraft II to play Mass Recall, so unless you already have it, you should probably not get the Mass Recall.

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded (5/10)

I paid $13.39 for this, mostly so I'd have something to do while I wait for Rome II: Total War. Frankly, that's almost all it's good for. I've played through all three(!) of the previous versions of this game -- the text adventure Softporn and the EGA and VGA versions of Larry proper -- and not only does this not really add anything new (other than at least one annoying extra puzzle that didn't really feel worth it), I don't think it even stands up to, let alone improves upon, the VGA version of the game. (That came out all the way back in 1991!) That's just sad. The VGA version was at least on par with its contemporaries, but this new version's contemporaries are games like Sam & Max Season 3, while graphically it feels more like the original Diner Dash, or something you'd find on Newgrounds. I realize they only had a tiny budget to work with, but they're selling it as a $20 game, and it simply doesn't stand up to other $20 games.

Verdict: Get the Leisure Suit Larry package from GOG instead. It contains both the EGA and VGA versions of this game (maybe Softporn as well) and four other games, all for a lower price.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows: I give it a 9/10

I do have to say the gameplay is great, the voice acting is okay, (wish they would've gotten the voice overs from the early 2000's Turtles cartoon would've been a lot better, and with more attitude)  I have yet to get passed the first boss, so you can guess on how difficult that is. :augh:  :fuckyou:

The Game I've been playing is called "Work".  It's not as fun as it sounds, but it's very rewarding as you progress.

It's fucking dull. The graphics are awesome, but you just sit there for hours and do nothing but write essays, and study history and do fucking algebra.
