That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

im not betting anything either. Im just an eternal optimist.

But remember: They were erased by a warp ring... thats a two way road instead of a one way ticket as everyone thinks. They may be gone for now but one day they may (or will in my book) come back.


If they don't come back, then Archie Comics might as well make the book SegaSonic exclusive.

I'm pretty sure Penders, Flynn, and Archie is getting alot of Hate Mail for this...


They probably are, though I admit Flynn doesn't deserve any for this incident.

It appears this decision was made by one of the big brass upstairs.


If they make it more like SegaSonic than i expect subscriptions to drop fast.

Flynn doesnt deserve it but he would still be getting it. Like some people may blame him and hell he could of gave us a better reason instead of "the editor told me to do this" like give us WHY they told him to do so

Maybe not. It appears that's the majority of the fanbase nowadays.

Well i would drop mine... Hell the only reason why im into it is cause of the SatAM characters and the Archie-exclusives ones along with Sonic... and if they are gone then im done with it.

Perhaps because it's not his place to tell us why. It could be the kind of thing that could cost him his job.

See that? Right there? That's what is called "fan ownership". It's when fans believe they should have a say in how something is run, that their opinion matters and that they have to know everything that is happening, even the behind the scenes stuff.

And fan ownership can be such a nasty thing. John Nathan-Turner, producer of Doctor Who in the 1980s dealt with it. He had high profile fans, the kind who were in charge of popular fanzines and the like, wanting to be his friends, getting all the latest news and gossip as to what was happening in the show. Guess what happened? The moment John stopped doing what they thought the show should be doing, they all turned on him, because they thought they had a say in how the series should have been made.

Bottom line is no we don't have a right to know. We may think we do, but we don't.

But should we? Should we really know what the trial outcome was between a comic publisher and a bat shit insane crazy man with a child molester moustache? Yes we'd like to know, but does it really doesn't concern us? That outcome is none of our business at all. We only think it is because some characters might or might not be off limits from now on.

I agree. The fans help pay the bills, so they have a right to know what's going on.

I disagree. The Fans don't need to know what is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps they're doing something big and didn't want to tell us.


I think that all depends on what it is.

If the characters aren't going to come back, then they should just say so instead of this, *POOF!* "they're gone. Oh well, too bad, so sad." bullcrap.

That would be better than this childish mind game of, "Ooh, they might be gone, or they might not be... find out."

If it turns out they'll be back, then whatever...
