@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

This film had quite a few weak moments, but the cameos of Knuckles, The Angry Video Game Nerd, and The Nostalgia Critic made it worth it.

For a fan film its pretty good but i feel it was a bit short.

Robotnik is pretty good.

Sonic looked a bit too realistic for me...
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I love how everyone is jizzing their pants over the AVGN and Critic cameo, but not one single pair of stained undies for Stuttering Craig from Screwattack.com.

Well I gave it a look at and for a fanfilm it's pretty damn solid. Without a doubt better then the... *ahem* "movie" we would of gotten from Sonmanic if he could have been bother to man up and actually do it instead of dropping the project every 5 seconds and "leaving the fandom forever" multiple times. Then again, I had the misfortune of actually reading his fanfiction... I mean "script" and it was so bad I think it gave me cancer.

But yes, not too bad, not gonna complain about the obvious things like the less then stellar acting because, well, it's a fanfilm.

Overall, decent attempt. Nice one BlueCore Studios!

This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Imperfect? Certainly, but as fan films go that's a wonderful attempt. Really got a kick out of some things:

-Robotnik once more as a brutal dictator (Julian!)...who really reminded me of Sgt. Slaughter.
-The Roboticizer
-"More of his kind" (Freedom Fighters?)

And, I'm sorry, but hearing Jaleel White say "Ro-butt-nik" made me feel like an 8 year old for a moment.

Glad to see a strong attempt at trying to meld some of the better aspects of the various Sonic continuities, and almost like it as a teaser for future projects, should the possibility ever appear. Who knows, get some backing/funding, etc....unlikely perhaps, but I'm glad to have seen it attempted.

Ha ha... SGT. Slaughter...
I actually met him before

OH wow, congrats to John and Chief =D
I know Shayne too, that's awesome!

I don't see my name... did I not donate to this? O_O
I could have sworn I did... why would I NOT have donated to this? I'm sure I did...

well I guess it's not important... this was really amazing IMO. I did notice a few flaws and things that could be improved like when the robots would pick up the humans and such, and there were times when Sonic was a bit... I dunno off. I can't really explain it . But overall, just wow. I guess it "ends" when the first game starts kinda?...

It's funny how Jaleel sounded more like Manic a lot, but I'm fine with that. I always loved Manic's voice. Thank god he didn't sound like Sonia xD

Well congrats to you guys getting in the credits. I'll just be sitting here scratching my head over whether or not I donated xD

And, I'm sorry, but hearing Jaleel White say "Ro-butt-nik" made me feel like an 8 year old for a moment.

INORITE?

I just wanted to tell you that the hardest thing I've faced
Wasn't the teasing or the pain
It was convincing myself I wasn't stupid, strange, or lame
And helping others do the same.

About what I expected. Could have been better. Could have been worse. Not bad, just could have used some more ironing out.

Hope to see this project go somewhere.

I like the ocmments on youtube that are either "Why did they get JALEEL to do Sonic's voice?" and "Jaleel would have done better than this"

I mean seriously people...

Exactly, best part of around 13, 14 years since he recorded Sonic Underground, and even then I found the Sonic voice a little different in SU compared to SatAM and AoStH. Hell Peter Cullen's voice of Optimus Prime is different now compared to when he started doing it back in 1984. Time will change anyones voice.
