So tuesday (today) Pokemon made a huge announcement. it was speculated that it was gonna be Gen 3 remakes or Gen 6.
It has been confirmed it will be: Generation 6. It will be released worldwide in October for the 3DS

About time they did a full 3D game if you ask me, but i'm surprised by how quickly were moving from the 5th generation to the 6th so quickly. Now if only they go full MMO on this series, they be the richest people on the planet.

Actually they've wanted to make a 3D Pokemon since the Nintendo 64. Stadium and Stadium 2 showed what Battles would have been like, but the game never got produced. A similar concept came out on the GameCube, but it was kinda....garbage. Wii had Battle Revolution, but that was like a not as good Stadium game (Note I do enjoy it anyways).

Nope. It was essentially Stadium only instead of picking the Pokemon you wanted you had to either use the ones from your game, OR rent ONE SET.

Is funny, the first thought after watch the video was..Are they trying to copy the Battle Stadium? Anyway. I still think graphics sux.
Just pause on min 0:59 of 2 video of Quirky. So hard was to make the flame move at the same time that he move the mouth so don't look so horrible?
Thats why I hate modern games. Things like that are truely not relevant, but you can know if people really hard work of the game or just trying to do in the cheapest way. but well, is a game for kids...who will notice it

Honestly I didn't like Gen 3. Though I wouldn't mind seeing remakes of Gen 1 in 3D or Gen 4 though that might be too soon.

I don't think they're going to remake any of the other generations. They want to look ahead, so I don't expect any remakes. I am not going to speculate anymore on the topic, but if it happens...well that's great for me because I enjoyed Gen. 3.

I really like Froakie... But I want to look at all the stages first. Kind of have a thing for frogs. Wonder if he's poisonous too...

Depends on the Gym Leaders.
In Generation 1, Bulbasaur is the best choice because it has an advantage over the early Gyms, while Charmander has a disadvantage and Squirtle only has an advantage over Brock.
Depending on the Gym Leaders' Types will decide which Pokemon I'll start with.
Though Froakie does look like the one I would pick otherwise.

That thing not only looks even cuter than Pichu, but I usually start with fire types.
I honestly wouldn't mind a Gen 3 remake. Sapphire is probably my favorite of the games. Mainly because it was the first one that I beat the Elite Four in.
And I would just DIE of happiness if they remade Yellow in 3-D.
