@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

what was your truly reaction of this? Really, tell me...

My true reaction? Basically something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9cu634ywPY

Well, ok, technically not that bad, but it was just a completely disgusting scene. That and the fact Elise falling in love with him was just gross. I mean, c'mon, this wasn't like Beauty and the Beast where the Beast was technically a human in beast form. This was a human falling in love with anthropomorphic hedgehog.

Makes me nauseous just thinking about it.

Also I don't recall anyone reacting about Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit, so....again it wasn't that big of deal.

That is a good point.

Personally, I never liked that relationship either. It just seemed really odd and bizarre. Of course, with it being in a fantasy cartoon world, I shouldn't be completely surprised.

Tex Avery made cartoons of a wolf howling a hot red headed chick several times, even to the point of wanting her to be his girl. I know it was probably done as a gag mostly, but still...

I even remember a very old cartoon from Felix the cat where he fell in love with a Dutch girl and kissed her too.

Wow, that's quite disturbing now that I think about it.

True. But is it any better he going after a Chipmunk/Squirrel?

At least in that sense they're both Mobians and their species are not that far apart either.

Also a Coyote (Ant') and a bunny (Bunnie) falling love isn't a bit strange either??

Oh yes, it's very strange, especially if you factor in coyotes eat rabbits. But again, in terms of fantasy worlds, I suppose those kind of rules go out the window.

Up until now, I just realized how creepy this topic has gotten.

No kidding.

Maybe it's best that some things are left unexplored.

i can agree with that reaction.
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Sonic is allowed to get attracted to her. That doesn't mean anything either.

As I said in the previous paragraph, sonic (in the minds of kids who started sonic when he started) was a rebellious speed demon who couldn't be tied down by anything (this is also why the game fanatics try their best to deny that the Archie comics and the satAM are cannon and "didn't exist" in the sonic timeline of things. They didn't wanna see sonic and sally). Seeing him fall for Elise killed the vision of THEIR sonic. Sure, they can be together, but people's vision of sonic were wiped, and sonic being the "never tied down" type, his entire basis in the 90's, went with it. Simply put, my reaction is because I don't approve of human and non-human relationships. bestiality is not my thing.

Personally, I think the kiss scene was worsened by how painful the game itself was. I mean, both "Sonic Adventure" and "SA2" had rather embarrassing moments, but that didn't destroy the games' reputation because the good elements outweighed the bad.

"Sonic '06", on the other hand, was chock-full off game-breaking glitches, painful gameplay, half-finished levels, bland/annoying characters, and a story with more plotholes than swiss-cheese. With all the complaints the game got, I think the kissing scene was made an even bigger problem that it normally would've been had the game been better.

Did you know that Sonic was originally going to girlfriend in the original Sonic the Hedgehog?
As for the kiss, I never played it, but heard of its infamy after a few years of its release. I watched all the cut scenes on youtube and when I watched it I didn't noticed it. Aie, I can't believe I didn't notice it.

You're referring to that scrapped Madonna human girl, aren't you?

Ugh, I am so glad that idea was taken out. Sonic kissing different Mobian species is strange enough as it is. We don't need human girls adding to that disturbing trend.

Not to mention its... *cough cough bestiality cough*

To be fair, that was back when the very first game was still in production. It was most likely a homage to the humor found in "Looney Tunes" and the Tex Avery cartoons; with Sonic and Dr. Eggman taking inspiration from both Mickey Mouse and Bluto from "Popeye the Sailor" respectively.

Around that same time, Eggman was a minor villain and instead of fighting robots, you fought surreal-looking monsters. Sonic was also part of a rock band, which probably inspired "Sonic Underground" some years later.

Ugh, this gives a whole new meaning to "Blast to the Past."

I think we've discussed the topic enough, can people start posting their reactions through funny videos again?

Not all the levels were half finished... it was just some key elements that didnt work. The only annoying character was Amy and the Story was actually pretty good. And even if the game was perfect people would have complained about that scene

It's when NC reviewed Junior, by far Arnold's worst film.

Sonic and Sally/Antoine and Bunny/any animal couple in this are both animals. Don't try to look hard for this.
Elise is a human in a 2serious/dark4u story that'd like to get banged by a giant antropomorphic animal who goes very fast.

That is all.

As for a reaction...
