anyways... So we still dont know the settlement terms, we dont know if the echidnas are coming back and we dont know how Sally will be de-roboticized
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Seriously, I doubt many people thought a Sonic and Megaman crossover would be a "brilliant" idea until Archie got the license to the Megaman comics. Once they got it, it was probably suggested along the lines of "Wouldn't it be cool if the two characters crossed over?"
Sonic and Mario crossover? Yeah, that was talked about and was obvious because it was Sega and Nintendo's big boys. But If Sega was still making consoles today, I doubt they would have even considered a crossover game with a rival companies mascot.
And like Red said, Capcom seem don't to give a fuck about Megaman these days, what with cancelling games and such. Hell, it was the 25th anniversary of Megaman last year and what did they do? Jackshit. And Megaman X Streetfighter doesn't count because that was actually a fan game which Capcom spotted and decided to get ahold of it. And the game also celebrated the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter, something Capcom had already been doing during the year, so the Megaman franchise got nicely shafted.
So yeah, I can't see a Sonic & Megaman crossover game happening anytime soon. Just like I haven't been able to see a series of good Sonic games for a long time. There's the odd exception here and there, but I really don't want to put my hands in the shit pile to get the one golden nugget out.
