With Tails, I'm with everyone else that he's too young to be in a relationship. But if he were to have a romantic interest sometime in the future, I could see it boil down to three possible candidates (I don't count Cosmo since she's believed to be dead):
- Cream is a common choice, but she doesn't have any common interests or chemistry with Tails, making their possible relationship kinda dull and forgettable.
- Amy is another interesting choice for Tails, but she's way too focused on Sonic to pay much attention towards him.
- Honestly, the only other character I can see him forming a relationship with is Marine. They're both sidekicks, they're into inventing machines, and have a craving for adventure.
About Cosmo: I'm neutral about this one...I don't like her at all, but I don't hate her. Anyway, cause I hadn't read archie yet, for me Cosmo is the only girl Tails loved and I think they matched very good. I know in Archie He love Fiona, Mina and etc...but since I saw Sonic and Tails married with respective girls and have sons, my mind refuse to accept what Archie tells because is the last thing that I would want to see in the Sonic saga. So in conclusion, I don't accept what Archie tell (I know is a childish reason, but is how my mind works)
It's been stated that "Mobius: X Years Later" is not the actual future. It's a possible future, but since lots of stuff has happened since then, the current future remains uncertain. Nothing's been set in stone.
