Anyways, if it's a Sonic Sonic game, whereas you only play as Sonic, meh, could be good. The thing about having several playable characetrs is that, taking Sonic Advance for example, creates a hidden difficulty system. If you've played the game, you'd also know that Amy is the hardest character to play with, while Tails is the easiest, and Sonic is harder than Knuckles. Having several characerts not only gives variety, but can.inrease the range of player whom buy/play the game. Why? Because unlike Mario, God forbid, Sonic (SEGA) was smart enough to put a difficulty system. Go SEGA! Yahoo! (and no, I use google, not yahoo)

Uh depends on the Mario game. Super Mario Bros. 2 for example, you select your character from Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad. Each has their own Strengths and weaknesses and depending on the player some can be easier to use then others.
It also depends on the Sonic game. Because Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Tails really doesn't play differently then Sonic.

Tails can fly, making hard to reach places 'not so hard to reach'. Amy, in Sonic Advance, for example, cannot attack midair on her own. All of her attacks must include her hammer. So, if you wanted to attack in the air, using normal controls, you had to press A t jump, then B to use the hammer. Furthermore, Amy could not spin dash or roll. She solely relied on her hammer for defense and offense.

Improving the graphics, maybe sprucing up the voices, and adding extra stuff.

On the same note, Tails could roll, spin dash, and could fly for some time, making him easier to play with. Knuckles could roll, spindash, and glide indefinitely, so long as nothing got in his way. He could only glide semi-horizontally, making him slightly harder to play as than Tails Sonic is the semi hardest to play as, possessing no special abilities other than the spin dash and the roll, no to mention the chaos emeralds.

TAILS IS MALE!!! I really despise people whom can't get that straight. That's like making Sonic a female, who falls in love with Amy who is a male, and keeping their names, because that's literally what's happening in SonicxTails. I can understand TailsxCosmo, but that was I fluenced by SonicX. In my book, that's an instant no no. TailsxCream is about as legit as ROMANTIC relationships can get. (RAGE)

The concept of Female TailsXSonic isn't bad. The problem comes in that nobody has the imagination to perceive Tails as a Girl.

And in all honesty since Tails isn't a girl, I usually ignore this romance.

Whoah, this topic has turned pretty funny. I laugh so much reading it. I want to add my 2 cents.

Like I said in every post I made about couples, I don't support them. The only thing I support is the Tails-Sonic friends to the end, but that doesn't mean I don't give my opinion about them.

About Cream: Well, I personally like so much this character. I think is pretty cute a child so polite and so harmless. I don't really think she should be couple with someone. It is true that Tails is the only character that would really fit with Cream and I don't imagine any other character with her, but still...I see her very young.

About Cosmo: I'm neutral about this one...I don't like her at all, but I don't hate her. Anyway, cause I hadn't read archie yet, for me Cosmo is the only girl Tails loved and I think they matched very good. I know in Archie He love Fiona, Mina and etc...but since I saw Sonic and Tails married with respective girls and have sons, my mind refuse to accept what Archie tells because is the last thing that I would want to see in the Sonic saga. So in conclusion, I don't accept what Archie tell (I know is a childish reason, but is how my mind works)

About female Tails: (*Teirusu start laughing stupidly) Every time I watched stuff about Tails being a girl, it goes in a very wrong way (If you know what I mean)...and normaly is really disgusting. Anyway its internet. Internet is a place where you can find everything and discover things that you never saw before. A lot of people find things that they like even most of the people think is weird, so well...like or not like a thing is not something you can chose so If someone support Tails x Sonic well...good for you. I'm not agree with you, but I won't look you as a weird person just for that.

About Sonic 2: I think the second player could make Tails fly. I don't remember it good since I don't play with him in around 15 years ago playing with my brother.
