I'm also excited about their adaptions of Mutts and Peanuts. I really like comic strips.

"Everyone creates the thing that they dread. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create... smaller people...? CHILDREN! (chuckles) Lost the word there..."

I love peanuts! I've collected various peanuts things most of my life. I saw the Epic trailer shortly after I saw Brave in the theater. I was very upset with Brave but am very excited about Epic! If this does well it might show Pixar that there are other studios out there that can actually tell a story!
Actually, I thought "Brave" was a well done movie. It was nice to see a Pixar film with a more darker/serious tone to it. Granted, it's not as polished as Pixar's previous films, but it certainly beats "Cars 1 & 2" out of the water.
Speaking of water, I frickin' love Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes". It was the first comic strip series I used to read when I was a kid, before I discovered "Peanuts". I was familiar with the animated specials back then, but I never knew "Peanuts" was a comic strip series until I found a whole collection of them at my local library. I love both series wholeheartedly because they're so nostalgic; something I'm sure everyone else would agree with.
Are they really making a "Peanuts" animated film? If so, I seriously hope it'll be good.

I'll make a topic for comic strips, so we can continue there.
