@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

neither have i. i used Wikipedia
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

During the end of Chapter 5, it's revealed that Shade works with the Dark Brotherhood in order to help bring her clan back to Earth/Mobius and escape the Twilight Cage. But it turns out their leader, the Grand Imperator Ix, has intentions of conquering both worlds as part of his empire. Shade realizes this and tries to stop him, but she's quickly betrayed by her own brethren. When Ix and the rest of the clan escape back into the Twilight Cage, she's left behind to die as Angel Island cashes. Fortunately, Kunckles saved her before the impact crashed her.

That's what makes her defection more understandable. - Least, to me it does.

Julie-Su, on the other hand, betrays the Legion because of her "soul-touch" with Knuckles. In other words, a lame attempt to have her leave and fall in love with him.

I thought Julie Su had a rich backstory. Being born among the dark legion and having her parents offed, and being forced to become a soldier. She is hardly just the girlfriend. Her and Knuckles act quite different from Sonic and Sally.

And wouldn't you know it, (If this has already been stated, my bad) the inspiration for Thrash was the Blue Knuckles glitch from Sonic & Knuckles.

I pretty much agree with this assessment.

The only part of her story was screwed up badly was her reasons for joining the Chaotix. It was just too forced and contrived, especially considering we didn't even see this character before her sudden change of alliance. I mean, couldn't we at least see more of what was life like for her in the Dark Legion before abruptly switching sides?

I agree.

Ian really give Julie-Su some good character development.

I always took it as she was simply doing it for herself. Helping righting wrongs by being where she could do the most help. She wasn't buddy buddy with any of the team members and joined mainly because of Knuckles.

Yeah but it would be so much easier to pair Knuckles up with Rouge or Shade or one of the Game Characters instead.

I seriously doubt it.

Ian's never liked Julie-Su. The fact he uses her so sparingly proves it.

Either that, or he's forced to keep her at a minimum due to the problems between Archie and Penders.

To avoid anymore scandals, Archie seems to be reducing the amount of usage with Penders' characters till this whole issue blows over; such as replacing Geoffrey St. John with Espio on the "Sonic Select #7" cover and replacing Rob O' the Hedge and Mari-An with Bow Sparrow and Thorn the Lop in SU #46 (though that may change).

That could be it too....

But more then likely he is just not using her. Besides Penders, nobody really does.

They could....but SEGA characters aren't allowed to be shipped with eachother. Changes the status quo.

Well its been hinted of a Knuckles/Rouge relationship for a while

Yeah, but there's a difference between hinting at and full on doing.

Besides, I've always gotten the impression that Rouge just acts like a total cock tease, not really caring for Knuckles and just wanting to use him to get to the Master Emerald while Knuckles just doesn't like her. You can't really call that "hinting" at a relationship and if it is, that's one messed up relationship.
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia
