@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

With PETA's version of Pokemon causing a lot of problems with gamers and Nintendo. But it doesnt stop there, they protest ANYTHING so they can be heard. Now i saw this not too long ago:

http://www.foxnews.c...test=latestnews

They are trying to brainwash kids into their ways.

Delicious vegan foods.

Bull!! Vegan foods taste awful to me (my opinion though). I mean keep kids out of it, let them make their own designs and not what they want them to think. They go way too far... plus my history with them hasnt been good either...

Anyone else share a dislike of PETA
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I can actually prove be a vegan isn't as good as being an omnivore humans are. Theoretically its worse to be a vegan instead of being an omnivore (remember im a culinary student so i can prove it too). So their arguments are invalid

It really isn't. Sure eating a bit less would be better but being a vegetarian or (heaven forbid) a vegan you dont get certain nutrients that meat provides that are VITAL. They really dont understand the consequences. Thats my most vegans are sickly and frail... they lack protein, vitamin B12, and more. (i could go into depth but i would confuse alot of you guys)

Actually the North American diet in general consists of too much meat (Guess what, I was a culinary arts student as well as third chef of one of the largest places in town).
The main reason for this indulge of meat is mostly due to the space we had when Europeans first started to colonize the America's. In Europe it was hard to have a large farm. And due the the population of Europe by this point in time.. Not everyone could eat meat all they wanted. It was more of a wealthy food. That is why fish etc were more common for the average person. Considered the poor man's meat. In fact in the European diet they eat parts of the cow that generally North American's discard. Take the bell for example. Its considered a delicacy over in Europe. Here, its tossed in the junk bin.

When colonizing the America's we suddenly had the operability to build large farms and ranches. Meat got a lot cheaper as it was so easy to get. Thus everyone swarmed to eating meat. The average person could now eat red meat without being royalty.

Thus the North American diet evolved into eating meat as much as we do today.

Yes we are omnivores, yes we do need meat. However in general the diet of North American's can stand to cut back the amount of meat we do eat.

And no I'm not a PETA lover or vegetarian I hunt, I kill, I eat meat. But the diet of North America is just a evolution over the last few hundred years. It does need to be changed.

That it does. i couldnt agree more. but to phase out meat in general is what i hate.

Bell is actually used in America... not much but its used.

Honestly, nutrition comes down to one word, balance. You need meet but not too much meat. And guess what, eating too many veggies can be bad for you too. It's all about making sure you have a balanced diet.

I agree. I used to be a vegetarian that would just consume dairy products, nuts, and eggs for protein (there's a name for it, but i forget). I personally do not like red meat, pork, or shellfish so now I only eat poultry and certain fish with the occasional red meat. I just don't really like burger meat. I will partake on a nice juicy steak once in awhile, but its a rare occurrence.

I may be an animal lover, but I'm not going to stop someone from wearing fur or eating meat, and it annoys me when PETA gets in the way with vegetarian life because not all veggies are PETA extreme.

Solution: We kill PETA and turn them into cattle and chicken feed and fish bait...

Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...

Entire world population infected 2,7000 hours from first contact.

I once heard that PETA's actions actually lead to more animal deaths than had they done nothing at all. Many animals who are "rescued" by them end up being put down.

Actually one of the top presidents is (I think diabetic) but the medication she takes is created from animal bi products.

EDIT: Sorry she does take insulin which was a drug tested on animals. And yet they say they do not want any animal harm no matter the case.

“I’m an insulin-dependent diabetic. Twice a day I take synthetically manufactured insulin that still contains some animal products — and I have no qualms about it … I’m not going to take the chance of killing myself by not taking insulin. I don’t see myself as a hypocrite. I need my life to fight for the rights of animals.”

Thats not suppose to be a link...dunno why it came out as one
