It's not. I can do the same on my bike. Problem was Mythbusters neglected that the bike is DRIVEN BY THE BACK WHEEL. Stop the front Wheel but not the back and the motorbike will flip. And Mythbusters proved that the Motorcycle Flip is impossible..

I have a feeling that Disney will ruin Star Wars and Indiana Jones now...
MGM Studios is a part of Disney World Restorts in Florida where they perform some of the stunt shows of Indiana Jones. They also have the MGM Studio Ride that takes you back through old films: Aliens, Indiana Jones, Wizard of Oz, and a few others. They try to put you in the scenes of the films. Not to mention the Rock N' Roller Coaster. I've never been on that ride because Roller Coasters freak me out, but I loved the look of it from the outside. Apparently, according to my friend, they blast you with rock music and send you through cork screws in complete darkness.
I think they MIGHT do a decent job on Indiana. My main problem is Dr. Jones' son (in Crystal Skull) because he is the same actor who played in Transformers. As much as I liked some of cgi in Transformers, I did not find myself enjoying the film because I personally don't really like him as an actor, and the story-line was crappy in my opinion (same as Skull). No offense to those who think otherwise.
As for Starwars, I am not sure how Disney will handle it. Just PLEASE don't make another John Carter!

As for the rest, adding another movie...
Like the prequels or not, all six movies did tell one whole complete story: The fall and rise of Anakin Skywalker. There's not much left of a story to tell.
Except for the Expanded Universe. Which I will admit is one of the things that attracts me to Star Wars. Adding another movie is going to burn that tightly-knit canon all to hell.

The problem isn't the radiation. The problem is Indy getting knocked the hell around. If you see the kind of punishment that refrigerator takes, the chance of Indy coming out alive, let alone virtually unscathed, is extremely thin. Also, Indy probably would have gotten a severe dose of radiation after leaving the refrigerator, which he does while the mushroom cloud is still billowing.Lead is nuke proof. 1950's fridges were mostly Lead and nuclear particles cant go through lead

The heart scene is one of the most fucked-up things I've ever seen, and I found that even more ridiculous. I think audiences probably "bought" the scene more easily in 1984 than they would today. I think we have higher standards for what maintains our suspension of disbelief. They forgot that when they filmed the fridge scene.I really don't have a problem with the fridge scene. Come on, a guy magically ripping out someones heart and Indy surviving that giant drop on a life raft was more believable?
Having Indy wind up in the middle of a nuclear test and frantically searching for a solution is brilliant. The solution he actually finds, not so much.

Anyway, on topic. Yeah, was taken by surprise when I heard about this, mostly on the grounds that it just proves that George Lucas is the biggest whore of all time. He always said there'd never be a 7th Star Wars movie, that the movie series was over and done with and all it took was for Disney to offer him a shit ton of money (and doesn't he already have enough of that?) for him to open up his legs and go "Just shove that wherever you want guys!"
It'll be interesting to see where the franchise goes from this point on at least, it'll be a nice change to have some set after the original trilogy then set in the prequel era. Seriously, I'm getting bored with all the prequel crap. But then again, this could be just as bad as the prequels.
"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Well, he'd been saying it's supposed to be 9 episodes years before Episode I came along, so it's not like this is coming out of nowhere. If anything it's getting the series back on track the way he'd originally envisioned. How's that selling out?Anyway, on topic. (By the way, my posts might give the impression I'm a George Lucas fanboy. I'm not, and haven't even seen Star Wars yet... OW!! Stop hitting me!!)

Well, back when he was saying that he didn't actually have the plan for the series down.
As it was said before, Lucas did not have the saga planned out at all from the beginning. Hell, if I recall the Vader-Luke connection wasn't made until like the third draft of Empire.
After Episode III was released, he obviously had changed his mind by that point.
Saying that the sequel trilogy will be like Lucas had originally planned the saga is implying that there was an original plan.

As has been said, I don't think Disney could ruin Star Wars worse than Lucas already has.
I'm with Ben on this. I can see many ways that even Episode I could have been worse.
And Disney's track record is such that they'll do worse.
