@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

I got Spoonman by Soundgarden stuck in my head.

Also when I go through these forums I listen to this:

Respect the will of others, and believe in your own

I'm mostly into Progressive Rock/Metal, Jazz, and classical; you know, the stuff if you try dancing to it will cause catastrophic injury.

One ought to never dance to the rythms of Mike Portanoy, Mike Manjini, or Niel Pert. Your hips will asplode!

Fun fact: Sonic got me into Dream Theater, I developed a taste for Progressive Metal at around seven years old through via listening to Crush 40.

I guess I'm getting into the conversation late, as usual.

The music I listen to is rather... varied, to say the least.

As a piano player, I enjoy classical music on a Sunday afternoon.

Spoiler

I also enjoy trailer music. [i.e., Immediate Music]

Spoiler

On the other hand, you may have seen some of the music I make - all of it is electronic.  I enjoy pretty much anything by Monstercat, which is an EDM label, with my favorite artist possibly being Rezonate.  I also already posted this song in 10,000 pages.

For me, it's been quite a variety lately.  A bunch of obscure rock bands from around 1969 to 1970, David Bowie, Flower Travellin' Band, Yes, Bruce Springsteen, and more.  For any Mega Man fans out there, the Rockman Holic album that was put out by Sound Holic to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Mega Man is a great listen.  It defies genres on multiple occasions.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I thought I would let you all know about my song a day blog; I've been running it for just over six years now. You can find it here.

Intresting!

So question for everyone: If John Lennon was never shot, do you think the Beatles would get back together

Well, John and Paul had debated reuniting to appear on a show that was offering them money to do so.  They didn't know.  Well, since Paul, George, and Ringo got together to release the Anthology set and to record their parts on Free As a Bird and Real Love, I imagine it would have probably happened if John had lived.

It was on SNL that they were offered

I listen to many different genres -- I think it is the individual songs that appeal to me.

Generally though, I listen to almost anything with synthetic sounds like techno or dubstep. I also listen to jpop (I can only pick out a few sentences here and there). If I turn on the radio, I generally tune into the hit rock station or the 80s station.

I also love to hear my wife play her violin, on the rare occasions she practices these days.

I love my God, my wife, my 5 kids, and I like my guns, my beer, my whiskey, and my pickup.

I dislike politicians, policemen, diet foods, no-smoking signs, and mowing the lawn.

I like Sonic games from the Genesis days, tolerate the Sonic Adventure series, can stomach Sonic Heroes, and can't stand the rest.

And there is only one true story of Sonic, SatAM.
