Y'know, looking at the new Sally design side by side to the weaponized Mecha Sally design, I can't actually see how these new mods Eggman did to her will result in her suddenly wearing these clothes once de-roboticized.
. Hair style for Mecha Sally is more in line with her previous style then the new one.
. While chest is blue, black triangle isn't the same colour as the shirt under her jacket.
. Upper arms are blue and silver, no brown at all.
. Lower arms are silver and black. Hands are silver (could suggest white) no blue on there at all where the blue ring of her new gloves would be.
. Stomach is silver, not brown.
. Hips and upper legs are blue, not the black of the shorts in the new design or any of the brown of her actual legs that show.
. Lower legs and feet are black, not the same color as her boots in the new design.
. BONUS: Random black shoulder pads that are not linked to new design at all.
So, can some please explain to make how her current robian form will automatically equal the new design once she is de-roboticized? And a logical answer please. Anyone who can convince me will get a cookie.
Here's a question for ya? With Ian (no offense) does locial play a part
That's not an answer to my question. In fact, for that, you owe me three cookies.
And he seems to have more logic to his reasons then anything you've come up with.
Only thing I can think of, is gets new look to restart her life fresh and if she must, burn the vest.
Since the weapons system was already mechanical....wouldn't it 1) not be effected by derobotization or 2) turn into body parts or something?
Have no idea. Look at Uncle Chuck for example in S2 "Sonic Conversion", that may answer some questions

But his shoes were on him when he was Robotized. Sally's weapon system wasn't...it's a whole new ball game with that....Since the weapons system was already mechanical....wouldn't it 1) not be effected by derobotization or 2) turn into body parts or something?

did he have a screwdivers or a disk drive in his fingers.

I always assumed him being a machine now, he was just using his bones as screwdrivers.

After the way you explained it, I cannot think of any reason why it would make any logical sense whatsoever.
The best answer unfortunately I can think of is this...

Yea, I know it's a tired Internet meme, but I cannot think of any other reason how Sally will go from Mecha Sally to Sega Sally. Her redesigned look proves it.

Maybe that why he did the thing with Bunnie, to setup what could be the answer.

And how do you come to that conclusion?
That's the kind of thing to be said after we know the exact details, in other words, after she's de-roboticized.
Thing is, we don't know how she'll be de-roboticized and we don't know if she'll be styling these new clothes the second she's de-roboticized due to Eggman's mods. But it seems to me that people are quick to jump and accuse without thinking things through.
"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Though I do have to say, it does sound at the moment that it will have SOMETHING to do with Derobotization....even if it's minor.

While you make a good point about saying we don't know all the details, how else do you explain the new hairstyle, the Sega styled gloves and rings, the new color style of her shoes. Even the fuzz from her cheeks is gone. That's either got to be some super Naugus styled magic or one whale of a new deroboticizer that changes your appearance after being in it.
I cannot see how it'll be anything else. I'll be very shocked if it's something other than this because that's the only 2 ways to deroboticize someone.
Well other characters who were Robotized don't seem to hold psychological damage.

I think Sally might because her robotic body was graphically modified. I can't imagine her just shrugging that off so easily. Then again, this is the same comic that had Bunnie changed to a cyborg and she seemed to be psyched up by it.
Go figure...

*nods*
The nuts at Archie Comics have quite a track record for not thinking things through.

The vast majority of roboticized citizens were used as nothing more than workers, rather than repeatedly being sent to kill their friends and family. The major exception to this was Sonic himself in Mecha Madness, though he had no memory of his actions upon being restored to normal, which honestly felt like a cop-out. Hopefully Flynn won't do something similar with Sally, as her coming to terms with her actions could make for a nice character arc.
Not that I'm expecting said moving psychological struggle. Emotional fallout isn't something Flynn's handled well at all, from what I've read. We haven't even seen Sal's parents reaction to the fact that a horrific process, the scourge of their people, long thought forever eliminated, has reemerged and claimed their daughter in its soul-crushing grasp. Heck, I'd be ecstatic if the comic had an issue (or even just a back-up story) that seriously tried to explore Sally's perspective while roboticized.

Flynn has been terrible with that but an issue explain what she went though would be interesting indeed

Reminds me of this:

Now, if they had done this:

That would be a whole different story.
