That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Well, I figured I might as well let this be known here...

For a while now, I've been working on a fanfic based upon Archie and Satam, though ultimately an AU of both... events follow similarly to those verses, but not identically. This fic is a story of survival, isolation and adaptation... and it stars one of the worst things to come out of Sonic in a while.

Chris Thorndyke.

Wait, don't run! And please, put down the torches... as I said, this story stars Chris Thorndyke, and I know that's gonna be an auto-repellent, and not entirely undeservedly. However, this is a Chris Thorndyke who is older, wiser and shaped by the very harsh events of the last eleven years and struggling with the very real possibility that he may be the last of his kind on Mobius, barring a certain other two.

So, all I ask is that you read it and judge it fairly. It's up to 14 chapters by this point, and updates tend to be slow due to real life. Gotta warn you the first several chapters are a bit choppy, as those are from before I managed to get my hands on a beta-reader. And it's gonna be a bit... bleak, initially, but I promise it goes somewhere.

The summary actually sounds pretty interesting. I'll give it a shot.

As long as Charmy isn't in there....I swear if I read another shipping/ fan fic with charmy in it I will behead his voice actor.

Having Chris be in it kinda made me wanna stay away but from what i saw it looks pretty decent. i'll read more later (cause its 130 AM here) read mine too

Oh yes, the response is all too understandable...after all, it IS Chris we're talking about. But as I said, this take on him is rather different to what we all know; born into different circumstances and all that, so I hope that despite the Blighted One's presence you'll at least enjoy this story. And I shall give your own fic a peruse when I've the time.
