@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Color me surprised, but pleasantly so. Who knows? Maybe one day, SatAM will get a similar story. :D

Eh, can it be considered a proper conclusion though? Considering none of the creative people behind Underground are involved in this issue. Plus is a one shot and it'll have 20 odd pages to wrap up the thing.

Don't get me wrong, props to Archie and Sega giving the go ahead for this, especially for the one Sonic show that is widely regarded as the worst and will be about 14 years old by the time the comic comes out, but I can still see this as being one that a lot of people will give a miss to.
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Well, the comic already considers itself a continuation of SatAM, basically. Yes, you and I know it's not the same continuity, but the average fan probably isn't terribly aware of the differences (aside of course from all the SegaSonic characters that have invaded the comics).

It's the milestone issue....perhaps it'll be longer then the normal issue.

Not a bad idea to finally bring the weirdest of all the Sonic series to an end.

It deserved it. Come on, it was bad, but THAT bad? At least it had kinda an ongoing storyline, and that's more than AoStH can say (except for that wonderful Chaos Emeralds saga).

As much as we enjoy making fun of it, it really isn't all that bad, and the inclusion of a family to Sonic other then Uncle Chuck was a nice change of pace.

Well, this certainly IS interesting news. I'm actually a bit curious to see this. Shame I gotta wait a half-year to see it. Assuming the incident involving The Writer Who Shall Not Be Named doesn't somehow wind up tanking the entire Sonic comic line within the period of now and next year...

This may be interesting
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Well, this came out of nowhere. I've only seen a handful of episodes (which were more than enough), but hopefully it will be enjoyed by the show's fanbase. There's something very refreshing about finally receiving closure to a years-old cliffhanger, even if it's not somethng I particularly care about.

With that said, I don't want SatAM to receive similar treatment. Someone mentioned on BumbleKing (though I didn't see an actual quote) that Ian said he wasn't going to try anything along those lines out of respect for Ben Hurst; props to him if that's true. Even if that wasn't relevant, there's no way it could be done justice in just one issue, or even four. The show's got a lot more nuance and thematic weight to it than Archie Sonic, and even though I enjoy Flynn's writing, it's generally pretty shallow and straight-forward, with lots of action that occurs solely for the sake of action.

As far as I'm concerned, Sea3on already does a fantastic job of providing a proper continuation, one that's not bogged down with the corporate red tape and hard deadlines that hurt both the animated series and official comic.

Also to add....as far as I gathered (note never seen all the Underground episodes) Underground was supposedly coming down to it's final before it was canceled.

I've already seen all 41 episodes. Personally, I'm glad to see this happening. I always wanted to know what happened after the last one.

Every TV series with a cliffhanger ending has a legendary "lost episode", which supposedly solves everything and ends the story.
I even read about the last SatAM episode (long before entering FUS).
